So... I was playing the game, and managed to get a house (exotic) to drop. It had a decent set of talents on it, but decided to reroll the swift reload talent for something better. In the process - I got disconnected. When I logged back in, the game had locked armor destruction (as though I had chosen to reroll it and replaced it with the exact same weapon talent).
Long story short - I contacted their customer support and am summarily told that there is no system in place to track things of this nature, and that they would not &/or could not do anything about it. In fairness, the customer support rep was polite and was simply relaying the information.
This does not sit well with me. So what if I had lost all my equipment? Basically tough sh*t start over?
This is - as far as I'm concerned - a huge black eye for what's left of the game. I will not be buying Division 2 until I get a much closer look at things, and I will most definitely be passing the info along to other players. I'm not throwing a fit over what happened; I just find it utterly absurd that even the most basic of online games nowadays have options to save &/or restore items to prevent losses of this nature.
Oh.. and for the "trouble of my loss" - I was offered some phoenix credits... laughable at best.. phoenix credits are pretty much worthless and stupidly easy to farm.. they might be worth something if the majority of the blueprints/schematics that were taken out of the game, were added back in.
I'm sorry to hear that you experienced this, but could you further explain what happened? I'm not quite sure i understand exactly what occurred.
We do realise that the phoenix credits often do not make up for the issue(s) at hand, but take it more as a gesture of good faith. We will of course re-visit topics such as these for the sequel and see where we can improve.

If I read it correctly, he start with 3 talents on THE HOUSE, 1st Destructive, I think that is the one that does Armor Destruction. 2nd Swift, which he wanted to change and got disconnected. 3rd Card Holder. When he came back in, he was stuck with Destructive/Swift/CardHolder. To recal now, it means he can only change Destructive, when he wants to change Swift. Which it is Swift he wanted to change and now can't.Originally Posted by Ubi-Johan Go to original post
Although I do think it can be frustrating when you finally find the weapon you wanted and something goes wrong but I can assure you that you will get many others. Exotics are far from exotic and over time you will see they drop everywhere in the game. I also think that if they really wanted they could restore his data, it is stored somewhere on a server and it can be changed.
RNG is not that kind to all of the players. Items dropped are not always what you want. The things you want may not drop with the talents you wanted. So the whole better luck next time, isn't the answer the OP wants. Though that is about the only answer he will get.Originally Posted by echolecter Go to original post

^^ This is exactly what happened.
Sorry for back to back posts, but I couldn't edit the first... as stated by YodaMan 3D, that's exactly what happened: to summarize I had 3 talents - destructive, swift and card holder. I was going to recalibrate swift and got disconnected mid process. When I logged back in, I am now stuck with only being able to change destructive.
As far as getting another House, yes - eventually more will drop (in fact, I got another but they're really bad talents). RNG is not kind at all. I've been farming as much as I possibly can, and thus far I've had poor luck.
I was hoping that since I caught the eye of Ubi-Johan, that maybe - just maybe - something would be done to correct this issue.. since I haven't seen anything further, I'm assuming that Ubisoft is just going to double down and stick with their "can't/won't do anything about it" bullsh*t.
I should have known better..
As far as farming another House.. sure.. right.. whatever.. I don't mind working for things, but RNG is broke beyond belief and completely unkind (to say the least).
