With GRW's new patch coming out tomorrow, they attempted to make the community happy, by adding more items in the loot boxes, and putting two more packs behind a paywall. Not only is getting the item you want out of a battle pack or even worse, a prestige pack annoying enough, but if you don't spend money, it is even more difficult. So when I read that MORE packs are being added and introducing things that the community has asked for, it is painful to see that they cost even more money than they should. For people who acquired the LVOC Bad News, why not have them receive the one that is coming in the pack? There are so few shotguns in the game, so why not make the M1014 free for everyone? Finally if none of that is going to happen, why not make the pack tied to a community challenge? Requested by the community, and locked behind a community challenge. At this point it is just getting ridiculous, no one is asking for more things to buy. Is it so difficult to just give us something for free that adds to the replayability of the game instead of adding pointless emotes?
I doubt that anyone from Ubisoft will read this or actually consider any of these ideas, but if they do, thanks for at least hearing what I have to say.
Here are the patch notes:

The only discrepancy in this post is that people did say they were willing to pay for some of these items, so unfortunately they get just that.Originally Posted by evan5338 Go to original post
Plus one vote for my fellow cheapskates. Will not be chucking money blindly
Forgot about that game and the endless amount of content...Originally Posted by non-exist-ent Go to original post
I'd love it if Ubi opened their games to modding, but given their business model I won't hold my breath.Originally Posted by evan5338 Go to original post
Fallout 4 runs like hot garbage on my Xbox. Can't go into Boston without crashing anymore. With or without mods.
OT: These microtransactions are what funds the creation of new content. So basically at this point anything added to the game has to be paid for by the players one way or another. Do you think that the $60 price tag of the game could fund development into its second year post launch by itself? I know it sucks, but it's a reality we have to deal with, because videogames are a business.
Post realese content outside of patches should come with a price tag.Originally Posted by Halcyon Creed Go to original post
however when you include a season pass model, the pass holders should be entitled to all aditional paid content within the season timeframes?
Bruh, Ubi and similar AAA companies do not have funding issues; that nonsense was debunked. Newer and smaller studios, or ones that experienced a major flop,Originally Posted by Halcyon Creed Go to original post
would legitimately need this kind of financial assistance especially at their requested prices.
