Last night I encountered a guy (on PS4) in the DZ that would melt you in literally half a second. He wasn't even using Pred. 500k stamina gone before you could raise your gun. I kept following him around and watched as he destroyed the server. We were all pumping rounds into him to no effect. Seems ultra high DPS and ultra high stamina is perfectly acheivable....... somehow
We make 9 manhunts on the same server and never die…Originally Posted by Frank_Rizzo_ Go to original post
I have seen people do some of that live. I have seen some of the videos online. Just because you are in denial, doesn't mean it can't happen. To top it off, if it can be done on PC, it can be done on Xbox or PS. They are nothing but computers.Originally Posted by Pitchman49 Go to original post
Cause it is a possibility that players are cheating. Like I said players have made videos bragging and taunting Ubisoft or Massive to catch them.Originally Posted by Pitchman49 Go to original post
So are confessing to cheating or are you saying you are so good that no one would need to cheat? I would guess you don't believe that the Cronus is cheating or even exists? Cause it does and it is on PC, Xbox, and PS. If you are as good as you say, I would also guess that many of the cheaters cheat because of players like you. They find a way to "Git Gud!" without even having to try. COD, BF, all of the major shooter games are filled with cheaters, yet you refuse to believe it, so it makes it not so?Originally Posted by Pitchman49 Go to original post
Problem is for a game to minimise the impact of cheating you need a networking architecture where the client is as little authoritative as possible and gamemodes that facilitate community admining so regular players can play together and anyone cheating has to at the very least turn it down so they don't stand out and more likely removed from the pool of people who are playing for a love of the game. The Division by its nature works against either of these.
The other option is to go big - maybe not quite Eve Online but so that the gameplay is based around dozens and dozens of players working in teams (clans, corporations whatever) towards larger scale objectives which helps to absorb the impact of minor cheating and quickly gets more disruptive cheaters noticed and removed.
The cheat authors are always one step ahead of game developers and can dedicate their time to what they do while a game developer can't and even hiring companies like Even Balance only goes some way to offsetting that imbalance - unfortunately by its nature TD was doomed from the start when it came to cheating and collectively the developers lacked the experience or foresight to shape the game so as to minimise the vulnerabilities to it.
A coordinated 4 man team can easily go on manhunt over and over and can basically take on entire servers if they know what they are doing.Originally Posted by Pitchman49 Go to original post
I'm talking about a single guy with sky high stamina and stupid impossible to acheive DPS.
Yes somethime it s possible.Originally Posted by Frank_Rizzo_ Go to original post

But i fight so many bad player. And They think i am a hacker.
he knows what you are talking about he just refuses to admit anything and thinks everyone who says anything about cheating is just upset because they lost because he doesnt mind playing with exploiters and cheaters. I could care less about dying in the DZ, im hesitant to call people out for cheating but im not so in the dark that i believe it just isnt happening as we all know it is and has been and its rampant both on console and PC.Originally Posted by Frank_Rizzo_ Go to original post
