I don't think it should have been made harder (overall) to get resistance points, since the current balancing allows you to rush if you want to, or slow things down if you want to (assuming you know how to manage your missions/points). It's really only an issue for new/beginner players.
Perhaps reduce resistance points on random events, such as hostage rescue, and supply vehicles. But I really don't believe there's any need to reduce the points you get in missions.
By re-adjusting the default RP with the mod, the game at least becomes more manageable as to the pace that Ubisoft originally forced upon the player regarding all the events that automatically are going to take place, whether the player wishes to do them or not at that specific point in the game.
It's certainly not an issue for only new/beginner players. Way back, upon launch, when veteran FC players discovered how Ubisoft had in fact designed this release of the series, there was a cry out for either a reduction in the RP for the various activities or for the RP requirements to be greatly increased, via a patch. It never happened.
Giving the player actual control of the pace of the suppose-to-be open-world "do-it-anyway-you-like" game isn't in sync now with the Ubisoft business model of gaming. Prior to release, in all the material being shown, there never was any hint by Ubisoft that they had changed the most basic concept of what up to now has been the core of a Far Cry game.
I was actually referring to the resistence points and enemy spawning.Originally Posted by HorTyS Go to original post
