    (Suggestion) Vehicle Drop Off Change

Hey everyone been awhile since I've made a sincere effort for ideas or improvements lol. I recommended this on reddit and UbiKeeba thought it was pretty decent so here I am. I think that instead of whatever vehicle you have selected just *bloops* in right in front of you it would be a much more welcome change to have a heavy set helicopter fly in the vehicle, set it on the ground and then for the straps to release and then the helicopter flies away. It should also be an option for the helicopter to be shot down and then be on a longer cool down timer or maybe it can leave if the LZ is too hot. I'm sure fans would really appreciate this because I mean what gamer doesn't appreciate the idea of air support in a tactical shooter like ghost recon??(rainbow six siege e3 presentation, halo wars spirts and pelicans dropping off enemies, hawx and r6 crossover mission) I would love to see some part of this implemented. What do you guys think? In any case I think that a change like this that improves upon the immersion is the next step in improving the game. Especially since the moment to moment gameplay is fantastic. After a huge overhaul on glitches, bugs, and disconnections I think smaller detailed improvements like this could go a long way for the fans. In this video I talk about similar stuff and my hopes for the game long term. Have a good day guys and let me know what you think.

Hard to imagine the rebels can get hold of CH-47/CH-53/Mi-8/Mi-26, since those are gonna be needed to airlift the heavier ones of droppable vehicles. But story wise, Bowmen's blackhawk should be enought to airlift in the 3 basic ones.

Apparently immersive ideas tend to be nuisance than it enhances in regards of gameplay quality.

Vehicle spawning far away is already a result of 'immersive suggestion' months ago and it renders the Rebel Support to be barely supportive.

If there's anything this game needs, it's not about immersive ideas that only sounds good on paper and other games that have nothing to do with.

It instead needs a well-thought idea that's actually works effectively and efficiently on practice. Because everyone can make ideas that sounds good on paper.

So you don't believe that this would work ?

I think it would be way better than just *poof*, and if Ubisoft really wanted to I'm sure they could implement it correctly.

I really like the idea, but I wouldn't imagine we'd see it.

A more reasonable request might just to have a rebel actually bring the thing. I was always confused why this wasn't the case.

    Maybe in the next game.

I vaguely recall the MGS did that in the last one, if you called for a vehicle drop you could actually target where it would land, and see the parachute descending. It was pretty cool, especially if you drop something on an annoying enemy.

What if two vehicles pull up and then he gets out and then get into the vehicle that followed him. It needs SWAG! lol

    Appreciate the suggestion, Bodark Zulu!

Here's the latest situation per our Known Issues list:

    Rebel Vehicle Drop-Off
    • Players report having vehicles dropped on them or in unreachable areas.
    • STATUS: The team is currently investigating possible solutions to improve this system.
    • DEV NOTE: Adjusting this system would require a comprehensive overhaul of several other key systems that impact the vehicle drop feature. We understand your dissatisfaction with this issue and your feedback is known throughout the Development Team. We are still investigating possible adjustments that could be made to reduce frustration with the Rebel Drop-off system.
