[Weapon suggestions] Poll - SMG & LMG | Forums

It appears the ''OFFICIAL Gear/Weapon suggestions'' topic is quite populair, but I noticed there were so many suggestions there that it is starting to become a bit of a mess, so I decided it would be a good idea to put up some polls to ask the community what weapons they truly want in most.

Unfortunately I can only put one poll per topic and I can only put in 10 options, so I imagine the best way to go about this is to try and find the 10 most commonly suggested rifles of each class and chuck those in.

For this one I put SMGs and LMGs together, as there weren't that many of both suggested often.

2. H&K MP5K (SMG)
3. Thompson (SMG)
4. Q Honey Badger 2017 (SMG)
5. M240B (LMG)
6. RPK-74 (LMG)
7. H&K MG3 (LMG)
8. M60E6 (LMG)
9. IWI Negev (LMG)
10. Ares Shrike (LMG)

*Note
1) You can vote for as many weapons as you want, however, if weapons stand out it is possible they are more likely to be added.
2) I tried my best to get the top 10 most populair ones, unfortunately some people might disagree. I hope this will suffice, though.

Isn't Ares Shrike already present in the game as the bizarrely misnamed "Mk 249"?

In those categories, the guns I'd like to see added are:
MP5SD variant
IMI Uzi
M3 Grease Gun, not the A1
HK MG3
M60
Minimi Para/M249 SPW (for a compact LMG or the Negev as mentioned)
Definitely an FN MAG, old school variant with a wooden stock and iron sights.

I think it's supposed to be based on the Shrike, but it's actually modelled after the Krytac Trident Enhanced LMG. It's the only example of a weapon that uses this exact handguard and stock.

I did see it, but isn't that an assault rifle regardless of its size? Pretty sure it still fires 5.56 aswell, no? Perhaps I am wrong tho

It would be a "PDW", and yes, it's still chambered in 5.56.

Interesting, I hadn't heard the term 'PDW' before
