Starting again doesn't reset player level [PS4] | Forums

I've deleted my saves and started again a number of times while trying to get past the On The Edge bug. Players' saves may get deleted or lost for any number of reasons.

Each time, my progress is restarted, most(?) of my inventory is removed [are those Ubisoft pants hanging around? And the knights' gauntlets?] but my level and fake money remains, presumably tied to my ubi account.

As nice as it is to keep the money, restarting from level 15 makes crate unlocking a lot slower.

Deleted my saves as well to see if that would help get passed the 2 “catch up” missions in Lynx World and Hard Hat Zone. My level and in-game currency stayed the same, even had my old gear from last save.
The only thing that reset for me was track progression.
