To look at the other side of it though rogues have never had any issue killing solo players or having the numbers in their favor so i have little to no sympathy when i see one complain about it being 8 against 4 or the such as those odds are still considerably better than a 4 v 1 or 2 that happens all the time. Now i will say im sure you are right on some players but dont assume just because players dont go rogue its because they cant. A lot of people just find the premise of it quite lame.
4v8 i wish, thats easy work most days. But 4v12 or 4vs16 seems to be the thing for my team in the last few weeks. Large groups of rogue police doing nothing and i mean nothing but grouping up to hunt even just 1 or 2 rogues in some cases. If you ever played back when friendly fire was active, this didnt happen as often, the threat of accidently going rogue required DZ police to have some skill and be a carefull, now just put nomad on and fire away aimlessly with no care or bother.

I was def around for those days. Id take 4 v 12 any day as opposed 4 v 1 as at least there is chaos around but i get what you are saying and ive def been on the servers you are talking about. Im not sure they found the right mix with rogue 2.0 but i do like it better than the friendly fire only because you constantly had players who would rather shoot a 15 sec accidental rogue in the back instead of killing the manhunt 10 ft in front of them which made zero sense to me.

I love hunting rogues and manhunts, prob does go back to when you were farming Lms and was getting robbed by a group of 4, so I do see myself as one of the rogue police , righting the past and present wrongs by the people that wouldn't think twice about griefing and robbing a noob 4 on 1. P.s. I'll be the deadeye watching you from my nice vantage point making sure you play nicely with others 😉
