lol, ive actually played against him and he wasnt a bad player, it was right after we all stood around and watched a Cronus user show off his dancing skills(he was calling out said Cronus user so why he comes to the forum and denies everything is beyond me). Anyways, me and a buddy took him and his buddy out a few times before we went to do some missions but he was a good player from what i could tell so im not going to say he couldnt run some manhunts off I just have an issue with him constantly denying the crapshow the Division is concerning exploits and cheats.Originally Posted by Zimbo78 Go to original post

What is a good plyer for you?
Going manhunt and surviving manhunt really isn't that hard and it doesn't require good players. It only requires coordinated ones. A reclaimer is good so is a final measure on your team but even without those it's not hard. Just stay together and keep healing each other while utilizing the terrain to your advantage.
Most of the time the teams that actually have 4 players on them is going to win. Half the time they are killing random solo farmers or teams of two or three. It's when they get overwhelmed by 12 players that they finally fail but even then the Forrest Gump across the map run begins and most of the time results in the manhunt guys clearing out their status.
I find it funny to hear people brag about manhunt victories. It's really no big achievement.
Rogue 2.0 was great (much sarcasm)! 20 players assemble outside of the DZ W 42nd street entrance and trade insults while waiting for someone to flag. 2 Players will flag and the 18 other agents will swarm them like an angry hive of bees. Rinse and repeat.
I made a post during the 1.8 PTS saying that I would pretty much stop flagging if rogue 2.0 wasn't significantly changed and the banshee bonus for non-rogue agents wasn't toned down. I've followed through and would never consider flagging unless I was in a full try hard mode squad. I'm not being outnumbered 16 v 4 by people camping a terminal and then having them emote over me for 30 seconds. Maybe the developers find that fun, but I don't.
Ouch 😁Originally Posted by Zimbo78 Go to original post
Way too much standing around in the DZ now. Because they've killed off nearly all sources of self sustain you pretty much have two choices for going rogue. Solo nomad, and hope for procs, or try-hard 4 man, with a proper team comp. Obviously even those with regular teams find themselves in 2s and 3s, but if you want to fight 8+ other players it's a **** show, so no-one bothers (Unless they all have their nomad proc ready, in which case they'll try, until they lose it, then go back to standing around).Originally Posted by OeilBlanc86 Go to original post
Jesemien's fix the DZ video nailed this. We tried it too. Only team in the server going manhunt, cleared a couple, were over run on a couple. Came out the checkpoint to the usual 12+ band of merry men emoting, talking trash. Figured we'd stand there and see how long it took for someone else to flag. No-one bothered. 15/20 minutes later most had got bored and just wandered off. Dunno how people find that fun at all.
There needs to be some kind of friendly fire mechanic bought back into the DZ. The fights are so inorganic now. Fights used to take on a life of their own as other agents would end up getting flagged and have to fight others than just the manhunts/other rogues.Maybe if it applied to nades and not gunfire. Agents re-spawning with 4 frags every time is just stagger central and takes 0 skill to keep throwing them into a crowd with no repercussion.
When most of the server are chasing one group of rogues its because those players are not good enough to get manhunts and they settle for joing the rogue police as its their best chance of having any DZ success. Its getting pretty stupid now the size of DZ rogue police groups, all wearing nomads and D3s. This didnt happen when friendly fire was around, players had to be good if they wanted to group up and hunt down rogues. DZ is now full of unskilled players joining up and standing around doing nothing for long periods, just hoping somebody will go rogue. Players accepting that all they can do is rogue police because they have no ability to manhunt a server. Theses players dont have the ability because they have never had to work hard and use skill, classifieds and changes to friendly fire are to blame for the reduction in skill level of players these days.Originally Posted by art_vandelay74 Go to original post
I assure you I am more than capable of clearing manhunts all day long. I can also tell you ive probably cleared about 25 in total and just enjoy killing Rogues way more than i like being one myself. Thats just my preference of how i like to do it. To look at the other side of it though rogues have never had any issue killing solo players or having the numbers in their favor so i have little to no sympathy when i see one complain about it being 8 against 4 or the such as those odds are still considerably better than a 4 v 1 or 2 that happens all the time. Now i will say im sure you are right on some players but dont assume just because players dont go rogue its because they cant. A lot of people just find the premise of it quite lame.Originally Posted by Garyfairbrass Go to original post
