On the contracts where your opponent gets a headstart, i ride passed cp1 then press restart followed by reset ["circle" on PS4] and this made the opponent start at the start cp.
Contract was completed succesfully when i got too the finish.

Do you have any video of this? Are you saying that you reset only the computer but you stayed in the same position?

The NPC that i am suppose to beat starts at the 4th checkpoint ,which it does when i first load the track, but by restarting the track and then pressing the reset at checkpoint button on my controller the NPC starts not at the 4th checkpoint but at the start checkpoint..So we both start from the start checkpoint which should not happen. Which makes it easy to beat him.
