I Cant Join My Friend | Forums

I have For Honor on Steam and my bud has For Honor on Uplay and we both have an OPEN NAT type but when i invite him through Uplay, he does not get a prompt to join the invite and when my friend invites me I can accept it but them it tells me they I cant and that I should try again.
