Error message on closed beta. Does my low end rig that bad? | Forums

Greetings!
Love the game so far, but i get an error at random times, game crashes, sometimes right after i launch the game, sometimes after 30 minutes of gametime.
I do have a low end pc, but when the game is running (low settings, VS off) it's ok.
Specs: i5-4670, 8GB (ddr3), GTX 770.



Is a "beta thing" or is my rig really that bad, i hope not, was going to order the game.

I have the exact same configuration as you, with an i5-4670K and GTX770 with 8Gb of RAM, and, I'm sorry, but I got the exact same problem here.

The game crashes somehow randomly, during races most of the time, and what happens is the game just freezes for a couple seconds, then image is black, and a coupl seconds later, error box from Windows with an instruction error. And I don't see any common thing to all of my crashes unfortunately.

I don't think the rig is bad, just the game has still issues, which is not surprising seeing the state of development. I didn't tweak any settings and the game runs quite well already, with short loading times and not so blurry textures.

I really enjoy the game so far (except for the music, mostly Lenny's horrible voice) but this bug is the main issue I encountered during my playing.

Hope Ubi will fix this, and everyone enjoys the game, as it's quite good a this point, and has been a good surprise to me after the already pleasant Fusion!

Thanks for the reply! I really do hope that Ubi will take a closer look and fix and tweaks some issues. Fusion was/is great game and that's way i really hope i can enjoy the Rising when it's out (and somewhat fixed).
