If you have one , M700 Carbon is better as it can be fitted with an under barrel mod.
Either way .CHD mods only ,

Speaking of, one of the LZ vendors sells a very good M700 Carbon from time to time. I believe it’s at the Meat Locker every other restock. 286 w/ Deadly/Prepared/???, cannot remember the last talent, I rolled it off.

If you are going to use bolt action sniper rifles go for a hunters faith build. Deadeye works better with semi auto sniper rifles aince you are not going for high damage headshots and accuracy. The last talent of th m700 family is always elevated ( the one which gives you more damage when you are 1.5m above target). Personally I am running hunters faith with dual m700 carbons but only for pve. Talents are deadly (increases crit damage) disciplined (makes the next shot after a kill to be an automatic crit), vicious (increases crit chance when more than 2/3 health). 2nd carbon is deadly disciplined brutal (increases headshot damage). I also run a 3rd m700 carbon when running challenging missions such as lincoln tunnel chexkpoint, with deadly disciplined and ferocious (increases damage against elites and named enemies).

All the crit damage mods, ext mag. I use a silencer instead of loud vent brake just to try and be a bit more stealthy. I'd made a big mistake a good while back and had a clear out and deleted all the suit's I thought I'd never use ! Just need the kneepads now to complete the full set again. Using a banshee/deadeye ninja at mo, and having really good fun sniping rogues/manhunts. Hope you have good fun whether pve or PvP 😁

Thanks for the replies guys, yeah i'm really enjoying it, more so than those i'm shooting at anyway!

I went with crit damage and chance mods as much as i could and it is hitting that bit harder now. Just mulling over whether its worth switching the silencer over to pure headshot damage or sticking with crit damage.

I am more of a chest shot at the moment whilst i get to grips with it, using a 12x scope. Anyone running the 3x scope? Im going to be testing quite a few different things.

The hybri with banshee is on the list to test out, any recommendations for that? Running 3 piece deadeye and 2 ban? Any semi sniper recommendations? Im a hunters faith pair of gloves from having all the classy sets now so cant quite run that yet but could make a hybrid with it at the mo

I'm running a 3x scope with mine, works great for me as I also do the 2 Deadeye, 2 Ban, ninja set up.

If I did the 6 piece Deadeye I'd probably go back to the 12× for the headshot damage as getting that first headshot is important for triggering the 6 piece set up.

I use ninja, 3 dead + 2 banshee m700 carbon and the house for close up protection. I've rolled SMG damage on the gloves as well, and usually 50/50 one on one close range from the 26k house. Could use a faster firing marksman for my backup, but not as accurate with them. Give the hybrid a try 😁

But you lose headshot bonus from using deadeye so why mod for it? Also Historian or bust, that gun is amazeballs.

Depends if you're using a build that needs headshots or not. Sentry for example relies on headshots. If you're running talents like Brutal, Skilled or Coolheaded, you'll need headshot mods.

This is what I run with on all my snipers except ones for Deadeye.

    Headshot builds:
    - Scope: Headshot Damage, Crit Hit Damage, Accuracy
    - Muzzle: Headshot Damage, Crit Hit Chance, Accuracy
    - Grip: Reload Speed, Crit Hit Damage, Accuracy
    - Magazine: Mag Size, Crit Hit Damage, Reload Speed
I may have Crit Hit Chance on either the mag or the scope if I need it to achieve a 1:10 CHC/CHD ratio.

    Non-headshot builds:
    - Scope: Crit Hit Damage, Crit Hit Chance, Accuracy
    - Muzzle:Crit Hit Damage, Crit Hit Chance, Accuracy
    - Grip: Reload Speed, Crit Hit Damage, Accuracy
    - Magazine:Mag Size, Crit Hit Damage, Reload Speed
