After the splash screen, the screen goes black like the game is loading, but then just crashes to desktop without an error message

I do not see any indication in our system that you've successfully started Trials Rising. What sort of hardware are you using? Try verifying your game files in Uplay.

I am using a GTX 1080 and an i7- 7800x. Is there any other relevant info?
