This is my take on this beta as a earlier top tier trialist.
I love the game so far, its bringing me back the old feeling i used to have in trials 2se, hd and evolution althought at this state the game still needs some adjustment to the things ill start listing:
-Handling
I see many people complaining about how the mantis handles like **** and yes, its a little bit unpredictable in times, but ive sourced the problem to be the v-sync and 60fps limiter.
The second i take of vsync the bike and all inputs become very good like in the old days. The only drawback of this is the ridiculous amount of tearing which kind of makes the game unplayable as you cant see anything.
-Track ghosts aka the opponents you see while playing regular runs
Please please please, enable option to disable them! Sometimes its nice to compete against other players but for me when i try to get past harder obstacles fast the ghosts mess me up since i cant see my rider too well over the others "players". As an added bonus there could be an option slider for the transparency of the other bots.
-Track selection
This isnt one of my favorite changes. I understand the idea of different parts of the world as tracks but i still thinks its overly complicated. Id be really happy to see the old school selection system like in HD and Evolution for easy track selection by difficulty.
/start of rant
-The crates
My ****ing god... Havent we already got enough games with these stupid crates? For the love of god, remove the crates and go back to the old system (which is implemented in this game aswell already) where you have to unlock some and buy the rest via the coins gained from levels, contracts, multiplayer etc etc. This game isnt csgo or pubg or any of those so just NO! /end of rant
-Current track desing
I really like the tracks, theyre simple and easy to understand. Some dark tracks in my opinion could use more light, like the last extreme map, its a little bit too dark to see well.
Few tracks had those mechanical things like elevators and the slider things and i think for pure speedgaming as this game obviously is, those arent too effective. Its cool to show the tech i know but id really appreciate if you dont add too much of those elements in the base game.
Bugs (which i think have all being reported already, just confirming)
-Contracts failing
Some of the contracts fail instantly, i thought there were only 4 tracks but there is actually more. To workaround you need to delede the cachestorage in documents.
-Leaderboards bugging
The top times seem to bug with some players, i see low times and go check and the real time is way more than it is
Also if you happen to watch a good run which is better than yours it will override your time on the game even it shows it correct in leaderboards.
-Options
Vsync off tears screen badly. vsync on induces alot of input lag which make the bikes behave very unpredictable.
Advanced settings dont seem to work correctly, always reverting to low?
I might add stuff when i remember if i missed something or find new things. I hope this helps and im really looking upto the full release!![]()

-[CAMERA]
Camera is shaky and on some occasions the angles are so bad that it makes some jumps way harder than they are so definitely need to move it more toward the side like in evolution.
Good example of bad camera angle is on ever, everer, everest on the half way where you are supposed to do the backflip, the camera is too behind to see the actual angle of the ledge.
-[BIKE] [PHYSICS]
The mantis is way too light, bounces little awkwardly (compared to evo and fusion) and when braking its like instant 100 to 0.
Played evo and fusion and then the beta and on the beta the bike is just way more unresponsive and unpredictable compared to the earlier games.
