    [Question] Does ghille suit work?

I was just wondering if ghillies work, I am a thousand percent sure, I mean they don't work... do they?

Edit: Thanks for responding everyone, I was sure that it didn't, but I have been dealing with people who think they do. Ubisoft please don't change how the stealth mechanics work unless you do an entire rework of clothing that would effect armor, speed, stealth, noise, and so on. This though is probably out of the question so just leave everything relating to clothing affects alone please.

Nope. Outfit customization is just for looks, but has no gameplay effect.

Yeah, as others have said sadly no, would be nice if your outfit had some minor benefits.

Would be great if there was at least some advantage if the appropriate ghille suit was worn in the countryside, and made you light up like a neon sign if worn in town ...

Be thankful. Otherwise you will see most players wearing the same set of gears for the best protective stats it gives like in any other games that combines clothing and stats.

Not a problem whatsoever if most players were to wear the "appropriate" gear, especially if it gave some benefit and fit into the over-all story-line of GRW. Ghillie suits might be locked behind a specific level as one means of striking some balance.

GRW is all about undercover and blending in casual clothing, traveling off the road. Even Unidad intel of 4 foreigners shows a photo of 4 casual-clothed mercenaries.

What most players been doing with obvious military attire fully wrapped in black heavy armor, helmet, balaclava is actually off-theme and inappropriate showcase of worn gear in the game.

Now top that up with ghillie suit and reckless driving, this game should start changing its tagline.

To be quite honest if Ubisoft stayed true to the Theme then maybe I also would and wear civil Clothes.
Personally I mostly wear tactical Gear in this Game as I never move into Towns and usually remain unseen. So RP wise that's OK for me.
