Greetings Riders,
You may have noticed some impossible times on the leaderboards. While this appears to be cheating, we believe there may be a bug that is posting incorrect times for players. The team is investigating this issue.
We will work to remove these times from the leaderboard as quickly as we can. Entries will be removed from the leaderboard but unless we have clear evidence of cheating besides the leaderboard entry no sanctions will be applied to accounts that have times removed.
If you notice that you have a leaderboard time that does not match the time you achieved on the track please let us know. We’d love to have more information on this issue from affected players. When sharing info please share as much as you can: account name, platform, track, anything abnormal that may have happened when you finished the track & anything else you think may be relevant are all helpful pieces of information.
Thanks for your understanding.
After watching one of the top racers replay, “my best” time displayed while highlighting the event on the world map changed to the time completed by that player. It does not effect my actual leaderboard time. Small bug, but noteworthy.
*EDIT*
It does also change my achieved medal for that track, I assume preventing me from gaining any bonus credits for naturally achieving the medal myself.
Solution has been provided for PC and X1 users in these threads :

Hope this helps!
I got a contract last night to beat someone that had an impossible time.
One thing I noted is that about a third of the way into the race he bailed off his bike and that's when it counted my contract as failed. It seems like the game registered his finish time when he hit the ground after bailing.
Somehow I got an impossible time on Rally of the Kings, on PS4 (Magberseb from Denmark)
It seems that on exactly this track, that if you "view replay" your time changes. Apparently, the time only got 5 seconds better (approx.) but when I looked at the global high score, my time was only 00:00:700. So somehow the bug on this track has to do with "view replay".
One time I was fourth in a race and my character had a loss animation. I went to view the replay and when I left the replay my character was showing a victory animation in the first place spot. My name and time was still in the fourth place spot, but one of the other racers moved there and was showing a loss animation. I tried this on a different track and the characters still moved after going into the replay menu.
