    Immediate crash on launch

    Hi All,

Trials Rising crashes immediately on launch for me. The trials-style mouse cursor pops up on a black screen for about 10 seconds, as if the game is trying to load, and then I'm dumped right back to my desktop with no error messages or popup windows. I've submitted a case at the support site, reference # 06976887, but I'm posting here too so I can follow up with a fix (if there is one.)

    Basic build info:
    Intel Core i7-4770K CPU
    16GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 FTW GPU
    Windows 10 Enterprise

If anyone has any idea to try in the meantime, let me know!

Same here...it seems it's not my RX480 causing the problem after all. I also tried in Windows 7 compatibility mode, but no use.

I had this crash several times so I opened Task Manager to see if the process was still running in the background. When I launched the game next I had the Task Manager window selected and the game launched successfully for the first time. I don't know if that's related, but ever since then I have been able to launch it without issue.

    Hey guys,

Can you please create a case on the support website and submit your DxDiag and MsInfo files for further investigation?

    Thanks.

Same for me, constant crash on launch, either before the network loading menu or on that menu, managed to play once so far, very disappointing when the beta only last four days anyway

Same issue for me. Event Viewer shows the faulting app as bad_module_info.

Thanks for providing the case numbers,

Can you please ensure your drivers are all up to date.

I'd also recommend heading to the .exe file in your installation directory, right click it, select Properties, Compatibility and select to 'Disable fullscreen optimizations'.

Please let me know if this resolves your issue.

    Thanks.

Same issue here. I tried the compatibility thing and also a bunch of other options too, such as running as admin and W7/W8 compatibility options.

Same problem here running the latest NVidia Drivers on my GTX 1060.

Also tried disabling "Fullscreen Optimization" without success.

    Hope this helps.
