Far Cry 5 Map Jam: Dead Living Zombies

    Hello Far Cry Map builders,

For the next three weeks, we'll be holding a new Map Jam! Using the FC5 Map Editor, we want you to create a single player map using the new Dead Living Zombies assets to create your own undead horror scene.

    How to Participate?
    • Publish your FC5 map between September 12th – October 3rd.
    • The name of your map should start with “MJ6 - nameofmap”.
    • Maps in any Single Player game mode will be accepted.
    • Third-party Mods are not allowed.
    • You are free to create on any platform. Note that PC builders and Console builders will be split into 2x separate categories.
    • Your map should highlight your vision of a zombie apocalypse! Using the new Dead Living Zombies assets will help you, but you can also use all the assets available in the Editor.
    • You can publish additional screenshots and videos to further promote your map.
    • If you wish to pro-actively send us links to your images or videos, use Twitter (hashtag #FCMapJam) or email us (farcrycommunity@ubisoft.com).

    Rules
    • Only ONE map creation can be submitted per person. This includes all platforms (so choose wisely).
    • Only ONE map creator per map will be taken into consideration. If you choose to collaborate on creating a map, understand that only the player that submits the map will be acknowledge as the creator.
    • HAVE FUN! – We cannot stress this one enough. This is what Map Jams are about.

    How will winners be selected?
We will hold separate selection processes for both PC and Console maps. A selection of Far Cry team members will play and rate each Map Jam submission. Two maps from each platform (PC, PS4 and Xbox 1) will be selected as the best Developer Choice and Player Choice maps, for a total of six winners!

    Read the full details here.

Good luck and happy map building!

I'd rather just purchase the T-shirts, mugs and pins, before ever wasting my time with a broken map/arcade system.

I was one of the winners of the last Map Jam, T-Shirt and pin are awesome, was looking forward to having a cup of tea in my sweet Far Cry 5 mug, till it broke in half when I washed it out in the sink. Think I'll pass on this one, don't want another broken mug. Have fun, and good luck everybody.
