Okay so I have been watching various videos about The Division 2 and I have noticed something that I find very annoying, they are all multiplayer.
Why don't we see any single player trailers/videos to show those of us that don't do multiplayer what we can expect?
I know that the company has come out and said that the whole game can be played in single player, but I have yet to find an actual trailer that shows single player gameplay.
I know that multiplayer games are hugely popular, but if you plan to sell a game that purports to be single player, then you should probably promote it (with trailers/information) that show that aspect.
They are doing the same as TD, early on they show to co-op and everyone playing nice. Then later a little solo play and then BAMM! DZ is the devil.Originally Posted by MstrTarvos Go to original post
As was stated during the E3 interviews, you will be able to take on most of what the game has to offer solo, similar to the first game. Co-op is of course a large part of The Division's identity and as a result the trailers will focus more on this aspect of the game.

While I appreciate the answers, Coop isn't individual play. By definition Co-Op is multiplayer as stated in the followingfrom Wikipedia. Now I know that isn't the best source, so let's try this oneCooperative gameplay (often abbreviated as co-op) is a feature in video games that allows players to work together as teammates, usually against one or more AI opponents. It is distinct from other multiplayer modes, such as competitive multiplayer modes like player versus player or deathmatch.written by Antoine Edmond in the Ubisoft blog in 2013. So call me picky, or stubborn or whatever you like but it would be nice to actually see some individual play. That's just my opinion of course."Exploration, objectives and player progression are all essential," added Emond. "You can team up with a group of friends in co-op and jump in and jump out at any time. In certain areas, you can also seamlessly engage in PvP and experience suspenseful scenarios where danger can come from anywhere and anyone."
TD2, just like TD1 looks like it'll end up an online shooter/looter with cover mechanics. Judging by the answer provided, and the wording, you probably will be able to play solo, just not all the game, and anyhow the game will have emphasis on online multiplayers (be it co-op, competitive, or PVP). All speculation on my side, of course. So not a solo game, but still a game you can play to a degree like that. (campaign and probable a flavour, one would hope more engaging than last time, of roaming PVE at endgame).Originally Posted by MstrTarvos Go to original post
Just a guess.
I just came back for read some news about the game and see if massive prove me wrong about don't trust then and don't pre-order the game. I must say thank you for make it so easy for me.Originally Posted by Ubi-Johan Go to original post
I'm sure i read or see some interview of you guys saying in the division 2 solo palyer can do all the game and the end game solo, right ?
Just quickly find an article about it, i'm sure some people know better source ; https://www.pcgamesn.com/tom-clancys...-single-player
And now in your answer to this post you clearly say : solo player will be able to do MOST of the game, and also say similar to the first game. Because we all know the first game was so amazing for solo player, including the solo end game.
Again thank you to show massive still try the same tricks than during the division 1 beta.

You can play the complete campaign solo, and in end game there is enough playroom for solo play. The emphasis however, has always been on team and co-op play.
Directive 51 was not about a solo James Bond type of agent, it's about quantity in agents, that was never hidden by any developer. It was always about "you and other agents"
Cmon man, everything you see co-op just use your imagination and remove 3 players from the equation. Just as in the current game. Get what you are saying but everything you see can be done singularly.Originally Posted by MstrTarvos Go to original post
