So I paid £30 for Y2 season pass | Forums

So considering I and others have laid down £30 for Y2 season pass, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t slightly worried about exactly what content we’re gonna get for our buck.

Because so far it’s been pretty bare bones, nothing that would justify the price tag?

I love the Karambit takedowns, and some of the other bits. But it’s hardly major additions to the game.

And I really really appreciate the option to disable the Team AI — fantastic addition that one. Game changer. Makes the game more hardcore.


But from Y2 I personally want,

1) the FG KNIFE and more CQC melee weapons
2) more faded camo options for clothing. A lot of the camo options make the clothing look brand new, not worn or faded.
3) More retro weapons — WWII bolt action rifles
4) more variety of Molle harnesses.
5) More shotguns
6) More hostage rescue missions


However, so far I haven’t heard anything about the content planned, so I hope it’s a combination of requested content and some really hefty PvE content/expansions...


Because £30 is a lot of money.

You're right. Hindsight I'm pretty disappointed with the Season Pass.
A CM recently stated they are reviewing the SP Content to eventually make them a bit more worthy. Whatever that means.

I have to agree that the price seemed high for what it was which was essentially 1 week early access to some of the updates, some battle crates and few exclusives. Way too much money IMO which is part of the reason I never bought it. ....it also had a focus on PvP which I haven't been interested in for a long time due to the exclusion of a hardcore mode or the searchable lobbies for CM.

Year pass but only get classes early, few customization items 8 battle crates for the year lmao, no dlc, no more customization packs. I never bought a season pass, this was my first, never again will I buy another SP from Ubi

I would like them to add a season pass section to the store where we can make preferred purchases.

The ability to buy the icons directly etc, especially the limited time ones - which I hope are cycled and not just gone forever now.

That would at least give some kind value - as much as I hate to be asking for a system where I pay you money for the opportunity to pay you more money! I guess that's the way it is now.

Considering it was the price of the season pass which included 2 full expansions, I am expecting something for the money.....


Please don’t tell me I’ve spent £30 on the karabit knife and a few helmets with goggles??????

For a second you made me pull my wallet out when I saw "SP" thinking it was "Single Player" only to get remind that you meant "Season Pass"

You know that I am the first in line to kick UBI in the teeth whenever a chance is given to me but I really can't in this case as, like you, I do believe that it was written and stated what the content on Y2 was and, again, personally I think it was a daylight robbery and they should be ashamed of themselves but people knew what they were getting into... or am I mistaken to think that?

I knew what I was getting into for sure. That doesn't mean I don't think there are many, many ways that they can improve it. As a community we have an obligation to provide our feedback if we want to see improvements.
