    What Patch you think was ever the best and why?

    I have not played the game since day 1 but TD was the reason why I got myself a PS4.

    Started playing since last year and for me, the best patch was 1.7, because I felt like playing with skills actually meant something.

    1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 were all good. 1.8 ruined all progress the previous updates made. Removing classifieds from pvp, putting the stamina value and movement speeds back to before 1.8 would be the best thing that could happen right now.

    I play since march 2017 For the DZ now everybody can fight equal.

    Maybe unpopular but I liked U1.1 to U1.3.
    Definitely had issues with hipfire, bullet sponge and player damage mitigation in PvP, but they are my favorite patches.

    Creating builds then was way more fun than now, and builds in PvE mattered a lot.
    Falcon lost DPS/Electronics support team was my favorite thing in the game back then.
    You filled an important role in the team and doing it well made you feel so good.

    I used to watch world chat and every time you less people asking for a DPS player, or a good Sentry player, or a Tactician pulse/smartcover, or Tactician healer, or a Reclaimer healer/pulse, ect.

    Can't say any of them have been the best, I felt more impact on the nerfing of the SBs. So the patches that was prior to those would have been appreciated more. Then again I always hated the nerfings.

    Any of them where skill builds were viable in the DZ. I also think Classified gear-sets ruined the game. Its pretty much hasnt been good since their release IMO.

    I think along the same way. The game would have been so much better without classified, exo-weapons. If TD2 follows the same path, I am afraid that the devs will think of a sequel already at launch.

    The patch where - they reset the turn rate cap back to the original implementation and found another way to combat chicken dancing, etc. improved the LMB grenades on legendaries, etc. so it doesn't result in the buggy stagger, added more dynamic events and NPC spawns, etc. and so on in freeroam post level 30 along with more reasons for players to generally group and hit the streets including longer arcing missions (don't have to be anything particularly fancy) making use of some of the more interesting locations around the map such as the sections of underground train tunnels and so on. Made the WSP a more dynamic contention between players and the NPC factions on a more global scale with the area becoming populated or de-populated of opportunities like landmarks, etc. depending on which side is winning out on a weekly or whatever basis. A variant of survival without an overall timelimit where one player acts like a commander something along the lines of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hdsgr-hlkYg who can discover things like barrels and threats and rewards, etc. with the resources available to the commander depending on how well the players on the ground are doing and so on.

    Then I woke up.

    Starting to think just having Classifieds being regular 4 pieces with higher main stats would've been enough as a "carrot on the stick", even if it was just for PvE/PvP. In 1.7 they finally reached some semblance of half decent PvP balance and they threw it all out of the window in 1.8.

    I also think 1.4 made PvE to easy. I think 1.3 Level 33 Heroic story missions was a good balance of difficult & doable.
