Appease the spirits of the "Three Witches" or "El Tio".
I show you both locations for the task force challenge in the video. For some reason I couldn't get the 3 Witches to work at the start so I just show you the locations and then do the "El Tio" instead.
I did time stamps so you don't have to watch the whole video.

I only got 2 face paints. Not sure if there are items I've already unlocked previously.

USASgtNickFury, all you had to do for the 3 Witches is:

(1) Visit each of the 3 shrines. and interact with the stone tablets on the altars.
(2) Return to Pa Kollu at twilight (I hit it at 2100hrs. and it worked... confirmation is visual contact on the gunners on the church perimeter).
(3) Snatch the Lieutenant and drag his *** back to the Witches' House Ruin.
(4) Position him over the sacrificial vessel.
(5) Knock him out.

You don't have to interact with anything prior to visiting the 3 shrines, and the reason that you didn't see any progress on the Task Force Challenge page (ie. after visiting the 3 shirines) is because it wasn't broken down into stages... it read "0/1", meaning you had to complete the entire challenge before you would notice progression to "1/1".

it's working now but the rewards are not worth the time considering I already have the rewards anyway

In the Witches Challenge you do have to interact with the Witches Hut first 3:03 in the video. This weeks challenge is broken and doesn't show any progress for either The 3 Witches or El Tio until you complete them, which is confusing to a lot of people, who never did them before.
