    [FEEDBACK] UNIDAD vehicles de-spawning

Have encountered nearby UNIDAD vehicles (normally the buggies) de-spawning should you not keep them within direct eyesight.

My experiences are taking out a buggy with a sync shot from around 350-400 meters, with the idea of grabbing it. However if I lose sight of it (simply by looking away) when moving towards it, the vehicle is gone.

I have also had UNIDAD buggies de-spawn if I simply move away from it not all that far, with the idea of course to come back to it.

Has anyone else had anything similar take place? I'm wondering if this is limited to those vehicles (buggies) which randomly spawn, and if you do grab one, it's only going to be very temporary, unlike those vehicles which are located at fixed locations in the game world?

The vehicle despawning happens, as I've noticed frequently, with other types of vehicles as well.

I've been using vehicles to block and provide cover when possible by moving them myself into more favored positions

If I walk too far away from the moved vehicle, or like you say lose sight of it, sometimes it will despawn.

Will look tomorrow at those settings. Using a GTX970, on an i7/3770, so all settings are not maxed.

Mike, you might notice an improvement, but despawning will still occur even if you max out your settings. Like knoknot, I also use them occasionally to block and had them despawn @ <300m when I was prepping a site.

The same can be said for mines, averaging 50%+ being triggered by civilians (both spawned and non-existent).

I also have just started using road blocks to stop convoys with a new character, and encountered the de-spawning issue - as mentioned by @knoknot - luckily after stopping the convoys. Simply circling around the traffic mess, to the other side in order to tag opposite from the still-searching bad guys.

The mines "feature" truly could be over-hauled and improved upon ...

    De-spawning feedback appreciated

Assuming each area or site has a vehicle placement plan, then whenever the mission ends and your player travels away from the area, or you are killed in action, the vehicle plan is reloaded.

Also, I've noticed that vehicles brought from other areas to your new site will despawn more frequently than the original vehicles planned for the site.

There are exceptions to these rules depending on the vehicle used and the scenario your playing.

One place allowed me to bring in a big truck to add to three big trucks that were already there.

As an aside, motorcycles are way more effective at blocking than they appear.

Think stairs, catwalks, entryways and exits.

Just be sure to get off on the right side!

Naturally this could go on with various examples; just now at a blocked bridge had a large truck roll up which I thought might work well as an end-block, and between witnessing this from a very close-by location (under 150 meters I'd estimate), and firing up the drone to check on the overall situation, had that truck de-spawn!! This after re-setting the appropriate graphic setting to max, so indeed that didn't have an impact with this situation.

There well might be a max saturation at work in my example; there were already a good number of stopped vehicles, plus one large helo.

Simply makes for some interesting game play.
