Truth says this the best. I could gave said it better. I play on console and I am hoping for the day this happens.
Console and PC are not pretty close they are very different. The monitor and wired connections have nothing to do with balance. A monitor make the picture clear and the other has to do with internet speed. 2 full balance teams is nothing. Not having seprat balance is an issue. One side is getting told to deal with it because they want to make this game competitive.
Exactly, i am tired Of all the 400ms attacks on console. So boring to not be able to even block attacks and the slow heroes are gimped an unplayable. I have break from for honor now and play kingdome come and later FIFA 19. I dont think ubisoft ever Will fix this Game with the current devs in charge Of the Game.Originally Posted by KSI_TheMadKing Go to original post
Agree 90% about all your concern, i played this game for over a year now on console, with good connection and related gaming stuff, but many times i felt frustrated because you can fell some attacks are at human reflex limit if not a bit over, don t talk about matchmaking with player over 60+ ping, there the thing go nasty,is really astonishing how the develop team not even spoke about make the game different for console and pc,seems they don t even took a game on console online matches,so hope in the near future they will talk about it with a official statement. The only thing i can t agree is the account transfer from ps4/xbox to pc because this will kill the console player base, the only thing they will let you do, is bring your progress from ps4 to ps5 when release, heard Damien on warriors den generally talking about it, so it s just my guess. It's time the console player base start to ask for change the thing is gone too far.
The devs can't even properly balance for one platform let alone in a timely fashion. Doubling their work load just because the average player refuses to put in the time to become good at the game is a horrible idea. I've played on pc. So i've played FH at 60fps and 30fps. My performance didn't drastically change as much as it did when I got myself a cheap gaming monitor (was 150$ USD which was a year ago.)
I personally do not want a seperate balancing experience. Because that implies they'ed be making the game easier for consoles and the game is already stupid easy. Finally balancing seperately doesn't fix for honor's core issues. Bashes/mix ups, unreactable moves, faster attacks in general, etc are added in not because pc players are gods. They're added in because FH is flawed and these are attempts to allow people to be offensive. Console players can and do run into the same issue pc does in this regard. It just takes longer to get to that level.
Finally the "us vs them" mentality when talking about competitive vs casual is probably one of the most frustrating and frankly disgusting mentalities to have. Games can support a fun and healthy competitive experience AT THE SAME TIME allowing casual play to be an enjoyable experience. Halo is a popular franchise that's more or less managed this. And fighting game wise Super smash brothers has also done this (as examples.)
So the devs are not "ruining" the game by attempting to make it competitive. The game was already bad from the get. We're merely seeing the results a bit more clearly (well for the average player anyway. Good players who mastered early have seen it for awhile) because the devs have been attempting to fix that. Though their attempts are usually pretty much the easy way out. As you can see with most reworks.
