So a few days ago I was able to recruit all heros (except for the DLC ones) – even those of the other two factions. I didn't find any information about that online and decided to buy them all – just in case.
Now they are all locked again. Did I really spend my steel to be able to customize heroes for two days?
Was it a bug that I could recruit them all? Is it a bug they are locked again? Or is this all intentional (though I don't think so... Who would want to recruit a hero for a limited time?)
Does anybody know?
I purchased an execution on one of the heros that I "purchased" for 500. Now I'm out 7000 metal and can't even use that execution I payed for because that hero is sitting behind a 7500 pay wall. Oh I got played good. Went to support and they gave me the company version of "tough ****. Too bad, how sad." Needless to say I am peeved.
So the same thing happened with me, i also bought a execution for a nobushi for 7000 when the hero was 500 and Ubisoft isn't compensating me by giving my steel, scavenger crates back.
I Spent around 10k Steel on all the heroes that i could get, then around 11 Scavenger crates on my nobushi that i had.
This was a known issue affecting Starter Edition owners who downloaded the Open Test:
Starter Edition owners: be aware there is a configuration abnormality with the Open Test. If you own Starter Edition and also download the Open Test, your Starter Edition will TEMPORARILY appear as the full Standard Edition of the live game. This will revert back to your Starter Edition after the Open Test has completed. Any purchases made during this time on the live game will not be effected, except in the case of Hero Unlocks. For Example: if you unlock the Nobushi for 500 Steel in this temporary Standard Edition, it will still be locked when we revert your game back to the Starter Edition, minus that 500 Steel. I.E. you would need to pay another 7500 Steel to unlock that Nobushi in the Starter Edition, as Hero unlocks are 8,000 Steel in that version of the game.
Did we all somehow miss this little CRITICAL piece of information or was it just on reddit alone? I do not recall seeing any notes, or information when i went through the process of trying out the open test. If there was a mandated notice literally anywhere in the process of sighing up and starting the open test, that notified us about this then that is indeed on us. But as I recall there wasn't. So if this reddit post is the only source of this CRITICAL information that still feels disingenuous for the players. And frankly. An issue being "known" does exempt a companies job at cleaning up the mayhem caused by said issue. We still deserve PRODUCT to the PAYMENT we DELIVERED.
This was on ubisoft's weekly For Honor developer's 1-2 update stream talk show thing.Originally Posted by haseothepkker Go to original post
