    Better Open World

Honestly the game looks very good from what ive seen, but i believe the game would be way better if you would be able to customize your pirate and have sword battles on foot just like a pirate would. Also Multiplayer would be way better if you were able to play with your friends and roam do online missions that have a story to it. Kind of like the Pirates of the carribean Online game, just with way better graphics and more. I really hope someone whos working on this game see’s this because i am speaking for the community, Thank you.

-You will be able to customize your pirate.
-You will be able to play with your friends and do missions together. Everyone will have their own ship and you can party up and just go on with your business of plundering
-Not much info yet, but looks like there will be a story to the game.
-No word on fighting with sword or etc. but it definitely looks like the game focuses on naval gameplay rather than on land.

    Hopefully this will help

Pretty sure the devs said no sword fighting or land based activities other than at your hideout.

It's been made pretty clear at this point that controlled melee / individual-level combat isn't going to happen because it's not what the game is about.

We've been told that the only island you will be fully exploring on foot is your hideout. However, we don't know (1) everything that the hideout will actually entail. There have been hints that it will be more involved that we think it is. And (2) to what extent there will be more limited land activity with respect to potential things like civilian ports or naval forts, about which we have basically no information at this stage whatsoever.

I swear if I can't give my captain a hat like Barbossa's then what is even the point of this game?

Sadly it looks as if we will be glued to the steering wheel of the ship for eternity.

I'm perfectly content with just being married to the sea.

I honestly share some of the same thoughts.

I don't expect it by the first game in this series at all, or even the second, but I truly hope that down the road this series turns into a true open world sandbox series with a single player, open world story mode like Black Flag.

I miss Black Flag and honestly want more from it outside of the Assassin's Creed Universe.

I really hope one day this will become a stand alone open world pirate series with both story mode alongside the multiplayer it currently has.

Black Flag remains among my favorite Ubisoft titles and I really wish for it to become more, I hope there's demand for it.
