[PC]Game runs in background instead of launching. | Forums

I purchased For Honor yesterday on Steam and initially everything ran very well. However, I've run into an issue, the game runs as a background application instead of starting along with EAC. I think EAC is normally a background app but For honor normally runs in the normal application registry.

Here's what I've tried so far.
- Reinstalling the game : Initially had the game installed on my external Hard drive, reinstalled the game to my C drive.
- Validating game files through steam : it downloaded 2 mbs and after trying to launch the game again, still nothing.
- Restarting computer : This also had no effect.
- closing discord and skype: this actually worked, however, after trying to play this morning it didn't work this time around, only yesterday.


Currently making a DXdaig file for my Googledrive to help with my system specs.
here's a brief rundown on what I have.
GPU: RX580
CPU: FX8370
RAM: 16GB
OS: Win10

I'm going to continue trying to fix this and I'm very new to UBI's website so I'm also going to try their tech support but I'm skeptical.
