    Jiang Jun

    Dear Honor players, Dear Ubisoft,

    I have played the Jiang Jun more than 20 hours in the open test, he has the potential, but now he is a weak hero, he does not need a rework, just some tweaks to be competetive.

    First thing, his damage, his first top heavy is 37, a warden can do 40, and even a nobushi has 38 damage top heavy, the Jiang Jun has a brutal strong weapon, and he is way bigger, so minimum should be 40. Side heavy the first strike is 33, at least it should 35, because he is a heavy, his heavy attacks are way too slow.

    His problem is how to open up turtles, because his attacks are slow, so he needs a bash move from neutral, his forward dodge top heavy cancel to a shin kick is a joke, even when the enemy is in OOS it is reactable, you have the dodge frames, than the first period of the heavy and only after that animation comes the kick. Easy solution, you can perform the kick from neutral as a normal forward dodge GB input, or when you are in Sifu with GB input you can perform a kick, this solution would be good because big JJ boy can only do zone attack from Sifu. Or maybe from a normal top heavy soft feint with GB input you could perform a kick, choose from these 3 solutions and the kick would be way better.

    Third thing is, he should be great when he is ganked, but for intance his after parry zone has not a big hitbox, he should be THE ANTI-GANKER, so we have to increase the range in all directions on his attacks, and the hitboxes, the enemy was standing 30 centimeters from me the and my zone only hit the other enemy for instance. With these 3 changes Jiang Jun would be in a better state, at this moment he is weak, so we need to buff him a little.

    I totally agree with you Redditmember, I really like Jiang Jun as you, we had to wait so long for a real heavy DLC character, you made good points about JJ-s weaknesses, if they buff him a little in these things he will be well balanced and really enjoyable to play.

    I have one more pluspoint, his side dodge heavy, it sounds good, that it has extended dodge property, but the attack is so slow that it cannot punish properly the bash moves-which would be a dodge attacks first goal, especially against Shaolins, which kick from QI stance is unreactable and way too fast (400 ms maybe), that thing you cant dodge on reaction, I could only do it when guessing he will do the kick, but always when I avoided the move the dodge heavy was so slow, that the shaolin could easily block my attack, it was not guaranteed. You can do maybe the soft feint light, but why have a dodge heavy when you cant use it properly, because the enemies recovery is way faster than the move.

    By the way Ubisoft you made a great job with the Jiang Jun, I hope as a heavy he will have more armor in the higher level gear, at now the vanguard tiandi has more armor than a heavy character, dont let it happen twice, we had the same with the conq and warden, on the chest the conq has no real armor, and a vanguard has more armor
