Downloading Assets.. Multiple times a day. HELP!
Alright - so my problem is this. Multiple times a day I get stuck with a “Downloading Assets” bar while the game is starting up that takes anywhere between 10-30 minutes to complete. Rarely ever is it less than 10 minutes but it HAS happened. Now, I normally log on a minimum of about 10 times a day and I have a habit of closing out all of my applications - therefore - the game has to go through the entire setup initiating the problem once again. Logically you’d think, “We’ll just never close the app out entirely”. Obviously I have tried this but unfortunately if you exit the app for a certain period of time, it resets it completely regardless.
This problem hasn’t always happened. I’ve been playing the game for about 5 months now. This problem I’ve been having with the start up has only been happening for about the past month, give or take a few days. So this hasn’t always been normal for me. I haven’t changed anything on my end with my phone or anything else I use to play SPPD. Along with trying everything I can on my end, such as deleting and re-downloading the app, freeing up more space on my phone, not closing the app out, etc. NOTHING has worked for me.
I’m hoping someone here at Ubisoft can help me resolve this problem and get back to being able to play SPPD like it used to be where I didn’t have to wait an extra 20 minutes after I get a notification for a PVP pack, free pack, card request, to be able to take advantage. Any recommendations from anyone would be greatly appreciated. From what they have told me I know my friends who play are NOT experiencing the same problem and it is isolated to only me. If anyone else is experiencing this please add a comment here.
Thank you for your time in reading this thread, and I wait patiently hoping that someone can resolve this problem for me. I do love playing this game but currently this past month has been excruciating and killing the entertainment value for me. Thanks again.

Hi there!
This used to happen to me! I found out that it was due to the lack of room on my phone, so I cleaned up my apps and podcasts, and haven't had an issue since. I would suggest checking that out on device and seeing if things aren't just a bit too crowded.
Let me know if it works or if it doesn't.
