    FPS Drops/Freezes since last patch.

    Hey!
Here's my issue, since the last patch, like 2 days ago (1.02 GB), the game has started to inexplicably drop FPS, the game freezes for a second and the FPS drop to 10-20 before resuming to my normal 100+. It's really annoying and makes the game impossible to play!
(This is the only game where this is happening)
    Here's my configuration:
    -GPU: Gtx 1080ti.
    -Cpu: I7 6700K.
    -RAM: 16GB
-Mother Board: Asus Pro Gaming Z170.
    -SAmsung Evo 860SSD
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with freezing and FPS drops recently. It is difficult to offer troubleshooting without more information, but the following steps help in many situations and will help to narrow down the issues otherwise. Please first disable background programs and make sure to keep them disabled for all further troubleshooting and try the game between steps. Then please verify your game files on Steam or Uplay depending on where you launch the game. If you have continued issues, please perform the remaining steps in our PC freezing FAQ.

Thanks for the reply, saddly, none of the solutions worked. I'm pretty sure it has to be something that was introduced in the last patch. Should I open a ticket to have more informations?

It would be worth opening a ticket at this point, yes.

In this please include a DxDiag & MSINFO, as this will help us to look into this. You can see steps on getting these here.

    Thanks

Hi again, I'm still waiting for an answer from the Support, but while I do so I did some experiments, and it turns out, I can't change the CPU affinity for the Game via the task Manager, an error message pops up and tells me I'm not allowed to. Any idea why? It's the only game that does that.

Thanks for getting back to us.

Generally this is down to Admin rights, but if it's only with Siege then that may not be the case. You could try testing this by setting up another User Account with Admin rights and seeing if the same thing happens there.

Hi again, so it seems I found a solution!
So I don't know if something was changed in the last update or if me rolling back the Nvdia drivers to 398.36 (For Monster Hunter) broke something. But reinstalling GeForce experience, clean installing the lastest drivers and disabling Nvdia Ansel got rid of the drops I was experiencing! Hope that can be helpful to some people as well!
