Right now I'm having an issue with a Black screen when I launch the game. Doesn't change or do anything even after I let it sit for 10 min. Honestly a little annoyed at this point I pre-ordered right once I could on xbox and then even came over to PC so I could test everything out and get my hands on everything. A little help here would be nice.

I have the exact same problem. I even tried reinstalling and restarting my PC but it keeps stopping at the Black Screen.

Same I've Reinstalled it, Tried to both play it off Steam and Uplay both end with the same problem. Even put a new Disc I had sitting around to see if was just an issue with spaces by chance, but even with a new 500g disc nothing is working. Even got asked for the beta code about 4 minutes ago and restarted the app and that was gone. Kinda annoying.

Clicked on the link and opened it with Steam and I get an Error " An error occurred while updating For Honor - Open test (App Running)" but nothing but Firefox and Steam is running at the moment. Next?

That error usually means the game was already running. If you open task manager is it running?

Only two things are open right now in Task are Steam and this Topic on Firefox. I can try another restart of my computer and maybe see if that works.

Thanks, if that doesn't work, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the test directly from the link. Let me know how it goes.

Alright when I restarted my computer it launched but still gave me a black screen let it sit for 5 min nothing. So I've uninstalled the game and am going to attempt to install from the link you sent. I'll post again once the DL is done and I've launched the game, along with if it worked or the same results.

I have the Uplay version, how do i check for the correct build there?
