Don't judge gears' worth by GS alone; that only reflects how close to optimum it is, and doesn't take into account build/playstyle requirements. For example, GS293 Striker's Gloves may look awesome, but if they're rolled into Electronics with LMG and Pistol dmg they'll be useless for a DPS-focused AR/SMG build. Likewise PvE will hav different priorities to PvP.
Look at the talents first... are they useful? Classified gear can have two attributes rerolled, so something at first unappealing can often be "made good" via the Recalibration Station. Then it's just a matter of expending DT to max the attributes and armour.
My priorities with gear, fwiw:
1. Major/minor attributes.... do they suit?
2. If optimised will <item> improve build>?
3. If YES then I stash it for further consideration. If NO I deconstruct/sell it
What Slug 72 said is the truth. How each item is rolled is WAY more important than the overall idiotic gear score number. People in this game get WAY to hung up on gear score when it means next to nothing. As long as you're in world tier 5 and get anything above 255 then it's fine, just might take longer to fully optimize.
And as I have said in response:Originally Posted by Jessa246 Go to original post
