How can I access the Closed Beta for Trials Rising?
ANSWER:
Trials Rising Closed Beta will be available between Thursday, September 13th at 10am CEST until Monday, September 17th at 9am CEST. For more information about preload and timings, visit THIS THREAD.
If the tile of Trials Rising is available on your platform but you cannot access it, please make sure that you are trying to access the Closed Beta while it is ongoing.
To access the Closed Beta on PC, please follow the steps below:
- Once you have received your confirmation email, you should get access to the Closed Beta in your Uplay PC library.
- You now have the opportunity to preload the game.
To access the Closed Beta on consoles, please follow the steps below:
- This confirmation email will contain a key for you to activate through third-party stores. For more information, check out THIS ARTICLE.
- The Closed Beta should be available on your Store platform.
- You now have the opportunity to preload the game.
For this Closed Beta, an online connection is required to launch the game on PC and consoles. If you have any connectivity issues, we advise you to check our connectivity troubleshooting FAQs for PS4, PC, and XBOX ONE.
Please note that geographical restrictions will apply. Non-eligible countries for the Closed Beta participation are North Korea, Japan, China, and Southeast Asia countries.

CONNECTIVITY ISSUES IN TRIALS RISING ON PC
QUESTION:
I am experiencing issues with online features of Trials Rising on PC. What can I do?
ANSWER:
If you experience lag, disconnections or other problems regarding the game's connectivity, there are a few steps you can try. We will list them in this FAQ, starting with the most basic ones. We recommend that you follow them in the order they are listed below.
Before diving into the thick of connectivity troubleshooting, you should understand that your INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER (ISP) AND THE WAY YOU SHARE THE CONNECTION SPEED plays a huge role in how you experience the game. If you are connected via wifi, please also bear in mind that you can maximize your gaming experience on the battlefield by CONNECTING VIA AN ETHERNET CABLE INSTEAD.
Here is the list of steps you can try:
1. RESET NETWORK HARDWARE
This will allow your network hardware to re-establish a fresh connection to your ISP.
2. SOFTWARE CONFLICTS
Make sure that no software running on your PC is affecting your ability to connect.
3. Enable UPnP
Some players reported that this step helped them to fix their connectivity issue. UPnP stands for Universal Plug and Play and is a feature that allows applications to automatically forward ports. It can be toggled on or off in your router settings. Due to the number of different router models on the market we are not able to tell you exactly how to do this on your home router. We suggest that you consult the router's manual or contact your ISP if you are in doubt.
4. PORT FORWARDING
This will allow the communication from the game server to be channeled directly to the PC and vice versa.
These are the ports you need for Trials Rising:
TCP: 443
UDP: 9103, 11030, 11035
5. HOSTS FILE
Rule out that an outdated configuration blocks our connection.
6. FLUSH DNS
Obtain an up to date IP address of the webservice you want to connect to.
7. EXTERNAL RESTRICTIONS
Check for other factors that may limit your ability to connect.

CROSS-PLATFORM FEATURE IN TRIALS RISING
QUESTION:
How does the cross-platform feature in Trials Rising work?
ANSWER:
Trials Rising features cross-platform functionality between PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.
Cross-platform functionality will be enable by default and will include: leaderboards, ghosts and rivals. You can disable this feature through the Options menu.
Note that this feature doesn't include crossplay. In Trials Rising, you will not be able to invite for example PlayStation friends via their Uplay accounts to your friends list on PC and invite them to your game session.

FRIEND REFERRAL IN TRIALS RISING CLOSED BETA
QUESTION:
Is friend referral available for the Trials Rising Closed Beta?
ANSWER:
Yes! Unless you were invited yourself, you can invite up to 4 friends to roll on your side. To do that, give the code received in your confirmation email for the Closed Beta to your friend. Then, your friend will simply log have to log into the BETA WEBSITE and redeem their code.
Please note that geographical restrictions will apply to your selected friends - they have to live in one of the supported countries for this Closed Beta. Not eligible for participation are Southeastern Asia countries, North Korea, Japan and China.
After redeeming their code, your friend should receive a confirmation email containing a key. This key will have to be activated through the third-party store. For more information, check out THIS ARTICLE.

PROGRESSION FROM THE CLOSED BETA TO THE RELEASE VERSION OF THE GAME
QUESTION:
Will any of my progression or unlocked equipment pass over from the Closed Beta into the full game when the game is released?
ANSWER:
To ensure that all players start the game on the same level and enjoy a fair gaming experience, the progress achieved during the Closed Beta will not transfer to the live server.

GAMEPLAY BUGS IN THE TRIALS RISING CLOSED BETA
QUESTION:
I am encountering glitches when playing the Closed Beta. What can I do?
ANSWER:
If you have participated in the Technical Test for Trials Rising and will be joining us during the Closed Beta, you may find you run into some issues with the game.
To make sure the only things you will be running into are parts of the Trials Rising scenery, we recommend you delete any save files remaining from the Technical Test.
To delete your saved data on PC, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher and delete the Trials Rising folder.
For help with deleting your saved data on consoles, please visit the official PLAYSTATION and XBOX websites.
