New Ops Seem Really Strong (Borderline OP)

I've never called an operator op before this except for like the montagne shield glitch but obviously that's not meant to be in the game. Basically I feel like clash is ridiculously strong being able to zap practically all the time and from super far range, but the real killer here is the movement speed reduction she gives you when you are zapped. You cannot get within melee range to actually fight her if you are being slowed constantly and you can't even shoot her from most angles. On top of that she has a really strong machine pistol. I would not post this here if I didn't feel it was necessary as it is essentially ruining my ranked games since there isn't really a counter and I have yet to purchase capitao. Also maverick should not be able to breach holes in the ceiling with making barely any sound, I cannot tell you the amount of times I've been killed from above without even noticing the sound since its so faint, being drowned out by the comms from the players. It's very disappointing when most of the ops are amazingly balanced and then these operators come along and they make it very hard to have fun or win in my placements. It's just too hard to counter.

I agree with what he said. I think Ubisoft has to rethink about it. If they don't fix this then I think its just wasting investing time in this game anymore.

I agree on other parts, but I dont think maverick should need a nerf. The blowtorch was already made more audible, if its any more audible its not gonna be stealthy at all!

I mean, it’s not really OP, she is just new but if you think she has tons of counters, Thatcher, Zophia, Capitao, Ash, anyone with frags. When people start figuring out how to counter her things are going to change.

My first bad experience with Clash would have to be on Presidential Plane where you climb up the ladders to enter the objective and shes right there to push your team back right off. I was successful in using Thatcher's EMP grenades on Clash once, but shes allowed to regain electricity after only a few seconds and can then avoid the rest of your EMP grenades the rest of the scuttle. In that time frame the rest of the team can come behind her and pick you and your team off...

The second time was on House, Clash was electrocuting me from the exterior rear door near the kitchen entrance while I was STILL IN THE YARD approaching the house.

I would suggest modification of the strength in the shield and coverage of the feet making her have to crouch. I honestly just find this game annoying now. Ubisoft used to be known for making RB6 to technical on the tactical perspective, but now its just ridiculous.

I Was going to do a bit of a review on the operators here but elect not to... mainly because it's too soon to call if they are OP or not. With new operators data is invalid for about a month after release. After a month players will typically know how to play and counter the character the most effectively. Only after this buffer period and stats stop fluctuating will a call on if/any/what changes should/could be made.

The test server in theory should be used for this but is more like a final beta test to iron out any bugs or major issues. Sure changes to new operators can be made and in this case have been made but it would only be changes that Ubisoft had been looking at before the TS went live
