    Connectivity Troubleshooting

If you experience lag, disconnections, or other problems regarding the game's connectivity, here are a few steps you can try. We will list them in this FAQ, starting with the most basic ones. We recommend that you follow them in the order they are listed below.

Before diving into the thick of connectivity troubleshooting, you should understand that your INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER (ISP) AND THE WAY YOU SHARE THE CONNECTION SPEED plays a huge role in how you experience the game. If you are connected via wifi, please also bear in mind that you can maximize your gaming experience on the battlefield by CONNECTING VIA AN ETHERNET CABLE INSTEAD.

Here is the list of steps you can try:

    RESET NETWORK HARDWARE
This will allow your network hardware to re-establish a fresh connection to your ISP.

    SOFTWARE CONFLICTS
Make sure that no software running on your PC is affecting your ability to connect. This includes updating any anti-virus or personal firewall software that may be installed on your computer, and closing all running background applications before starting your game. Full details here.

    ENABLE UPnP
Some players reported that this step helped them to fix their connectivity issue. UPnP stands for Universal Plug and Play and is a feature that allows applications to automatically forward ports. It can be toggled on or off in your router settings. Due to the number of different router models on the market we are not able to tell you exactly how to do this on your home router. We suggest that you consult the router's manual or contact your ISP if you are in doubt.

    PORT FORWARDING
This will allow the communication from the game server to be channelled directly to the PC and vice versa. The For Honor ports can be found below:

    Game Ports:
    UDP: 3074

    Uplay PC:
    TCP: 80, 443, 14000, 14008, 14020, 14022, 14027, 14028, 14043

More steps for Port Forwarding can be found here.

    HOSTS FILE
Rule out that an outdated configuration blocks our connection.

    FLUSH DNS
Obtain an up to date IP address of the webservice you want to connect to.

    EXTERNAL RESTRICTIONS
Check for other factors that may limit your ability to connect

    Connection Error

Check the network if it is connected properly. If the connection is well established and still the connectivity issue is arising, then reset the Network hardware you use and reinstall them. For more solution, contact kaspersky customer support. They will provide you with more suggestions in this matter.

I haven't been able to finish a single Breach game due to getting disconnected all the time.

Error after starting Marching Fire test game

I can't get into Marching Fire by any means.
The error I get every time:

For Honor servers are unreachable at this time. Please try again later.
    For more information contact support.ubisoft.com

The regular game I can play without problems - so cannot understand what is the problem.

Mervinas you downloaded an Outdated Open Test. I suggest you uninstall that one and download the latest Marching Fire Update

Well, I'm the opposite. I have just downloaded and installed the For Honor Marching Fires Open Test and now I can't play the normal game (particularly Story Mode). I keep getting "Ubisoft servers are currently in maintenance mode". I'd rather play the game I've paid for than an Open Test and Story Mode is not available in Marching Fire!
