    Can't see chat in game

    About two weeks ago this started, out of nowhere after a few minutes into any game chat disappears. I can't see anything people type or quick chat, I can use quick chat but I can't see it. This can be annoying when I need to see my teammates quick chat especially. I guess I'm just reporting a bug and I'm wondering if anybody else has had this problem, and I'm too drunk to sit and search through the forums.

    Hi Fugh_Q,

    Thanks for reporting this to us, I'm sorry to hear you've encountered this.

    If you haven't already, the first thing I'd advise is verifying the game files. This will check for any missing or corrupt files and replace them. This can be done by clicking on the menu under the game icon in Uplay.

    Thanks for responding, I verified the files yesterday and played for a while and it seemed to be fine but today when I got on it was right back to it.

    Apologies for the delayed response, I'm not always available on this channel and I'm sorry that you didn't get a response in the mean time.

    Does it still resolve itself for a little time if you verify or have you not tried since?

    Ubi-Holz. This is a bug you've introduced with the last patch. I got it frequently as well. Somehow out of the blue quickchat and normal chat won't be displayed anymore. Usually until you get into a fresh game again.

    Do you have any video of the event as it happens? Does anything else happen that might indicate a way to reproduce the problem?
