Sorry, I cannot help you very much in this case. But it is interesting, that, so far, nobody has offered any tips. Apparently, Legendaries solo are not as easy as some players claim. I tried it myself and was not very successful, apart from Warren Gate. This was the only legendary mission I did nearly alone. I only failed in the last room with the second last agent. I played Tactician and was almost the entire mission in cover. I cannot remember exactly how much time I spent, but it seemed like ages.

I've solo'ed every legendary mission with a few different builds.

Tactician with clustermine and BFB for me is the easiest way to solo a legendary.
Use a sentry turret against the super tanky Hunters, their AI is different and they keep away from it.
Cluster mines make short work of NPCs when you have +400k SP

The way I learnt to solo legendary missions was to learn the spawn locations and compositions at every area in a legendary mission then just treat each area where NPCs spawn as a puzzle to solved, then move onto the next area.

When I first finished Timesquare legendary with difficulty, I did Napalm about the same difficulty,
then I got a gut feeling on how the AI worked finished Warrengate pretty fast.
Every legendary mission after that has been relatively easy to solo compared to my first times.

Builds I've used to solo legendary missions
Highend/MDR (U1.6 I think), Highend Sniper, 5 piece Tactician, 3/4 piece Firecrest/Tactician, 6 piece predator (good vs Hunters), 6 piece sentry shield build, 6 piece lonestar, 6 piece alphabridge, 6 piece nomad, D3.

Warren gate is ok tac or d3 done it , falcon lost incursion with nomad.. but the rest i can not do, tried times napalm and amhersts but the scouts are just to fast, even when you run past the first part the second wave in the second part gives more scouts, they just rush you at super sonic speeds ...and the turrets do not slow them down. would not be so bad if you could save each part...
set up classy sniper build 10k weapon damage the first run i could head shot them twice and they were down , after i was downed, the second run i could not kill them .. lag ?......

I have done Amherst solo and despite what some claim whilst it's short I found it difficult. As mentioned it's knowing the spawns the first section is hard due to the rushers and 3 or so flame guys who come from the street and can spawn more than once. My favourite build is a 2 piece tac with 3 Fm and of course a ninja. My skills are a little light at 370 but you do get the granade spam protection but it's not 100%.My choice is a turret (not flame) and seekers a low GS AR to get destructive /ferocious and preditory to proc (only from seekers. You need a high end AR as a second weapon to deal with NPCS who get by you. Talants to use are shrapnel/CS/chain reaction and adrenaline (if you have any medkit left lol) also consume your 3water against the Hunter (20%extra skill power). It's trial and error and if I'm honest not worth the effort except to say you have done it. It's important to take time and retreat back to doorways often (once you trigger a spawn) let the NPCS come to you. Last section switch to stickey bomb. Another player has sniped from the garage and cleared the first section from the St to the left. There's a wall 20ft down and you can throw seekers over and use a turret on top. Prepare to die a lot but there is a great satisfaction from completing. As always watch some utube for ideas.

Tactician and Predator are my go to builds for soloing legendaries. As already stated, you have to learn, and memorize, each spawn wave. Also, always have escape routes planned out ahead of time in case it hits the fan. Above all else, take your sweet time with each section since there are no timers besides Warrengate.

When I first attempted to do a Legendary solo, there were only three legendary missions, Napalm, Warren Gate and Time Square, and my builds were not as strong as now. Above that, I was not as familiar with the missions as I am now. After all your posts, I thought I give it a try once more and played Naplam solo. I used Tactician with cluster mines and turret and made it to the checkpoint without dying once. But the second part is much harder, imo. I tried Tactician and Pred, but was not successful. Then I changed to Nomad, this worked well until the last room. That one is really tough. The four agents, particularly the healer, are very difficult to kill alone. I used Tac, Pred, Nomad and Reclaimer (all 6piece classy fully optimized) and I've not been able to kill them so far. Maybe one of you "natural born killers" has an advice? What did you do to overcome the healer? Thanks in advance for your tips.

You need to be able to out DPS everything that comes at you and have a fallback plan. DPS could be your skills or your guns, but regardless of what you use, if you're not outputting enough damage in corridors and hallways, you will get overwhelmed.

A few examples on my end:

These are from before Classifieds came into play.

This is all you need. He has solo guides for all the legendary missions. You need a decent Tactician build to pull it off.

Well lets be real, the difficulty of the Shield is intentional. If you try to solo Legendary missions and you don't know what you're doing you're going to get wrecked, and trying to group with randoms is almost worse. I think it's pretty safe to say that the Legendary mission Shield was only meant to be cleared by the "Hardcore" players. This would mean only a select few would get all of the Shields and the flag to show for it. I think this is fitting, and gives the top tier some kind of value. I think they should have taken this a step further and given each Shield three tiers, ie 25/50/100 landmarks cleared ect. with each tier of the Shield the rewards getting cooler. Most of the Shields are just plain too easy, and honestly the rewards are lame. I think I cleared the first 4 in like 2 1/2 hours. Not to mention there is no new content for 6 months, so this is all we have.
