Just trying to figure out which is better, mainly for the House. Now most of my builds i use just enough FA to unlock responsive around(5200f fa is a sweet spot for me) then dump the rest into stamina. except for Nomad 5pc i use 6k/7k. I kinda of find that mainly LS or skirmish as i dont really pvp in the DZ much anymore Deadly/Responsive has good burst damage but i end up falling just short leaving the enemy with just an inch of health. He then strafe's like crazy resulting in me missing alot of shots pops a med kit and face tanks me sometimes managing to kill me. But it just feels like i have more survivability using responsive/unforgiving. Like as soon as i lose one health segment its usually over for the other player as i down them immediately. But also majority of my builds for this patch have 3pc banshee besides the 5pc nomad. But even so my 5pc nomad with reckless chest piece (i know what your thinking lol, i wanted to be different it actually works) that feels like it hits harder running responsive/unforgiving over responsive/deadly.
But anyways what are peoples thought's on these talents?....for some reason when i run SMG/AR these 2 talents are basically a must for me along with booster shot. By the way without the deadly talents im still sitting around 118%-122% CHD.
The simple answer is that the bonus from Unforgiving is flat weapon damage, and thus multiplicative. It is applied before Crits, headshots ect. The CHD from Deadly obviously only applies to crits and is additive with the rest of your CHD. As soon as you lose health and Unforgiving pops every shot gets the bonus. For face trading the 25% for that last bar is a big deal. If your opponent has Unforgiving and you don't (assuming you are hitting roughly the same amount of shots) you will lose every time. Unforgiving is pretty much a must for any Nomad build.
I find it varies greatly on which set you're running. High stamina like Striker or Nomad that can eat some damage yes unforgiving but I prefer Deadly for Predator since you want a high average damage and want to fire from cover mostly - let the bleed do the work. Are all the + Weapon damage talents multiplicative ? That makes Competent way better than I gave it credit for.
Had to do some digging to find this .Man it's been a long time since this got posted.

Looks like Unforgiving is actually additive. Sorry my bad. Will you forgive me?![]()
