Wouldn't it be crazy for Shugoki to get some kind of deflect with his rework? Like with his passive Hyper Armor it would make a great punish against those double light attacks (Warden, Orochi, Shaman, Shinobi...)
I mean if assassins got hyper armor why wouldn't a heavy get some kind of deflect?

I thought Conq and Warbro both had deflects? I'd like to see it on Goki but he is walking a fine line of needing a buff and being OP.
After being a joke for so long I would hate to be considered OP.

A deflect that guarantees a Demon's Embrace sounds good to me.

I'd be happy if it guaranteed a heavy, the one where you get tossed away. It would make you think twice before going super offensive against a Shugoki when near a ledge or something.

Deflect is reserved for assassins. Are you confusing deflect with superior block which Warlord (on lights) and Conq (on heavies) has?

Only one assassin had any real access to hyper armor, and that's berserker. Shinobi and maybe gladiator have it on like one olive, but that's it. None of the other assassins have any sort of hyper armor.

And that little Hyper Armor assassins have is by far better. Shinobi and Gladiator interrupt every Hyper Armor attack from Heavies or Heavy Hybrids and Berserker well he is a better tank than tanks, like Kensei.
Seriously everyone can tank better than thanks, and now even an Orochi spamming deals more chip damage than a heavy with Punch Through.

Shinobi hyper armor only activates on his kick. That's it. So saying he's a better tank than heavies is possibly the dumbest thing I've ever seen on the forums to date. Berserker has HA to enable him to trade hits, as is in line with his archetype. Blocking/parrying is the best and most efficient way to shut him out.

As for interrupting hyper armor, I've never seen that. That's not functionally possible because of the nature of hyper armor. Additionally, I don't see how the menial amounts of hyper armor on two heroes makes them better than heavies.

Shugoki has plenty of problems, his hyper armor is not one of them.
