    Connection Errors - I can't play coop - Maine-118 - Bookworm-B90A7AF6

    H,,

I've created a ticket on ubisoft support for this.. But in case I can get a quicker response or a new suggestion here, I am also posting my problem here too..

Here is the complete support ticket content I've sent.. Any comments or support is appreciated.

    Hello,

I've attached my System Information and DxDiag Information in one zip file (sys.zip) since system information file was 15MB ... I'm running the game on an MSI GE63-7RD notebook.. 16GB RAM .. GTX 1050Ti .. Windows 10 Pro..

Error codes : "Maine-118" and "Bookworm-B90A7AF6" (Added screenshots)

I want to play the game with my friend Coop.. But I keep getting connection errors in the game since yesterday. This errors started after the latest 1.4GB size game update on Steam.. I first started playing the game solo, yesterday morning.. there were no errors.. Then in the afternoon there was this new update and i installed it.. After that these two errors started to come up when the first main menu shows up and when I join or when I want to play multiplayer..

I have been researching on the Internet for this issue since yesterday and I've tried everything so far.. Here is the list :

-- I've completely uninstalled my antivirus/firewall software.. (still same error codes)

-- I've added permission to Uplay and Steam and Far Cry on Windows Firewall.. and I've added permissions to ports on Windows Firewall (TCP: 443, 6005-6190, UDP: 9000, 9103, 12000, 11110, 11115) Then forwarded the same port numbers on my Router settings to my local IP address (still same error codes)

-- I've completely disabled Windows Firewall (still same error codes)

-- UPnP is active on my router... (yet I can't see any records related to uplay or steam or far cry there.. only other software records show up there) (still same error codes)

-- I've checked my "hosts" file under Windows/system32 .. there are no entries there.. none at all.. (still same error codes)

-- I've checked my Date/Time settings.. Made time and time zone settings auto update and make sure they were correct.. (still same error codes)

-- In case there is a server side problem with recently changed Turkish DateTime Zone settings, I changed my Time Zone to UTC0 (generic) (still same error codes)

-- I went back to normal Date/Time settings.. (still same error codes)

-- I changed my Regional Settings from Turkish to United States.. (still same error codes)

-- Flushed DNS cache from command line (still same error codes)

-- I changed my DNS adresses on my Network Connection.. Tried google DNS adresses and several other public DNS adresses (still same error codes)

-- Flushed DNS from command line again and again (still same error codes)

-- I tried connecting over a VPN (Private Internet Access) .. through Germany, France, Belgium, Romania..(still same error codes)

-- I activated Xbox application on my Windows 10.. Created a new account and logged in.. (still same error codes)

-- I uninstalled Xbox application from Power Shell and reinstalled it again.. (still same error codes)

-- I verified game files on Steam.. No errors on files.. (still same error codes)

-- I uninstalled Uplay and Steam and reinstalled both (still same error codes)

-- I deleted all game files from game directory (except big size *.dat files) to make Steam download and install the game files once again (still same error codes)

-- I've tried connecting over my mobile phone connection with Mobile Tethering to my PC.. So it will connect over another ISP ... (still same error codes)

I've been doing these things for 10 hours now.. and I have no other choice but thinking this is not a problem related to my system or my local settings.. I think there is an issue with the game server itself.. or a problem with the latest update.. or with my ubisoft account on the cloud..

I bought this game only to play with friends.. I need a quick review and solution to my problem..

    Waiting for your reply...

    Have a good day..

I've found the cause of the problem. In case someone is still having these two errors, I'm suggesting checking your installed software on your Windows and check if there are any Network related applications installed there..

In my case, I tried tons of different things for days to fix these errors.. In the end, it turned out it was "ProxyCap" application all along.. The application also causes Ghost Recon Wildlands crash... I uninstalled ProxyCap and the errors are fixed..

    EDIT :
Note that disabling the application doesn't fix the problem.. Even when it was completely inactive, the game still loads its DLL files from system32 folder.. So you have to uninstall the application..
