downloaded latest patch - getting booted from arcade due to anti-cheat

Hi , just wondering if anyone can help.

I just downloaded the latest patch and tried to play some arcade. after about 10-60 seconds of playing i get booted with this error :

    anti-cheat peer validation failed
    you have left the session
you have been returned to the main menu
    error: bookworm-d0773e70

I have never seen this error before and nothing has changed on my pc apart from this new patch.

So , does anyone have any idea why this game now thinks I am a cheat and bans me from playing?

FFS I play with a fricken gamepad. Every other noob with a mouse is a fricken cheat! :P

ok, just to add some more info -

the account i am posting from is not the computer/account i was having trouble with

i have 2 computers on the lan playing farcry, the other computer was on arcade no problem.

the other pc is not on now, and i tried again on the account/pc i had the problem earlier.... and i successfully played arcade without the error.

so, i am hoping the issue was not due to having 2 computers on the lan trying to play farcry5 arcade-post latest patch ... i will update this if I get the error again tomorrow when the 2 pc's are playing together

i am just thinking out loud - could the game i joined have been running on the old patch? when a patch is realesed and you are playing arcade, does it log you out and tell you the patch is available?

Ubisoft platform issues seem to arise around the same time and only last a little while.

Try completely closing the Ubisoft Launcher when you get this error, not just the game.
