What I see is that developers trying to slow the pace of the game with changes to immunizer to prepare us for upcoming TD2, game is more tactical and less face tanking as we know already, so why to not look at "feature" called chicken dance?
It's cover base shooter not running and gunning simulator, I do not mind gear sets features (nomads, pred and so on) but that is clearly obnoxious exploit.
Im not sure if anything can be done at this point but i wouldke to hear you opinions about that.

It was advertised as a cover based shooter / looter ... But massive and the cheating npc put a stop to that with the shooting through cover and around corners , flame throwers that hit you further than you can shoot , and grenade spammers that have magic aim that goes over under and around any cover ... The chicken dance never bothered me it was the fact that they became bullet proof doing it.. Honestly the DZ feels more toxic than ever and I'm about ready to just break something (or someone). Nothing but 3-4 man gank squads patrolling the lower DZ 24/7, spawn camping the exits and just generally making life Hell.
They seriously need to disable the Link skills inside PvP, and nerf the frigging Immunizer already. I'm fine with it preventing a status effect, but it should not clear one that's already applied - so beyond sick of getting someone like a hair from death and they just instantly pop their box and destroy it to clear the bleed and overheal.
Honestly, there are a number of things they could do to clamp down on the griefing because it's completely out of control. Automated turrets (with very short range) by the checkpoints, NPCs scaling in strength based on the number of players (and prioritizing Rogue players), and having Hunters spawn when Rogues try to extract/get near an extraction point.
* can't edit posts on here wtf? Sorry don't mean to double-post just wanted to add in that Striker nerf feels like a huge mistake, it's only lead to an even worse, more aggravating meta. Also wtf, since when can a turret soak literally 1 million+ damage? There was this manhunt squad that myself and no joke, 7+ other people had cornered but we just could not kill them as they had 1 guy with a shield, 2 others up behind some boxes (1 was reclaimer ofcourse...) and they had 1 flame turret way out in front of them that was just utterly impossible to destroy but did insane damage.... I don't remember ever seeing a turret that durable before (and that damaging)
Its not the animation and its not the movement. Its the Servers that cant handle the speed.
Very few are good at doing the chicken dance manually now adays. Its the macro users that you typically run up against that you have a hard time with Damaging or those that use the scroll wheel but even that isnt as bad...
Further more which is IMO the larger issue of this problem its the Vpn'er,lag switchers and those that purposely run crappy connection that always seem to be un-killable. Its the same players over and over with high ping and crapy buffer's and so on....
Has nothing to do with the movement in the game its just how the game puts you up against these laggy players that makes it worse.
Fight a player with similar Connection stats as you and you will see that it has No effect to Dance other then making someone miss shots. Which IMO is totally fine.
Though sure they can handcap the movement/animation even more then they already did and slow it down forcing it to not be possible to do such fast turns but that will destroy IMO one of the best if not the best movement system a game has ever had that ive played. "Just like they did in TD2 they have destroyed the movement and made it more clunky like wildlands but worse"
So the issue isnt the movement/animation even though yes by limiting the movement even more it will get rid of the "Chicken dance" it would extremely destroy how fluid the movement is by doing this. Look how many hated when they changed the turning radius several months back..
Never had a problem with someone that as you guys call it Dancing or "Zig zagging" aka Strafing . Except those that i know are either Macroing it or have a really bad connection which in turn cause D-sync and thats why you cant hit them because they know they have a crappy connection and when they straf they know they will d-sync the servers so where you're aiming and hitting they are really not there. Sure you see them on your screen as there but on they're screen they are 2 meters to the left or right, so the hit registration doesn't counts it as a hit.
Having a worse connection then the other player is king.
What most of you see today is not really the "Chicken Dance". That was back in launch through 1.5 maybe 1.6 IIRC before they changed the movement system. Today its mostly strafing/zig zagging and if you have a bad connection you are king and almost unkillable when doing... Just leave server and or find a new game when you see these players. No point in working yourself up over it.
I dont mind Strying at all. its part of many games. Until its one of those players i know are one of the reason mentioned above....
Bottom line it cant be fixed without destroying the movement fluidness of the game.
