Rainbow takes 2-3 mins to load after I pick an op | Forums

hello, After i pick an operator in the beginning of a multiplayer game it takes me 2-3 mins to load while everyone else instantaneously loads in. The gaming laptop i am using is the exact same as a friends and he doesn't have any problems. In Steam and Discord it says i am playing Tom Clancy's rainbow 6 siege while everyone else just says Rainbow 6 siege. i don't know if that's related but if you can help that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Does your laptop have an HDD or an SSD? Where is Siege installed on your laptop? You could try moving it to the same drive you have Uplay stored on to see if this helps.

after i have found a match my screen show the R6S background and other than loading into OP menu everything works perfectly. The next thing I know I m in my match with recruit and everyone is blaming why I ve chosen recruit though according to them I was already loaded in the game and was idly sitting.

Does this happen every single round you play or are you just posting a one off occurrence?
