Everytime I launch it, it pops up with the cd key activation and I don't see and sort of key

I have same problem. Added on Steam to library, downloaded, run - uplay client shows up and asks for key. No possible to play this game at all.
I can see no support here or on steam discussions. Is that FREE STARTER ED. is a SCAM? You want us to pay for it, since You made it free for some time?

Hey guys, make sure that you have started the game on the same Ubisoft account you originally logged into when you first launched For Honor. Also make sure that you are running Uplay and Steam as an admin. Thanks!
