In a fighting game, sport or discipline, when an opponent forfeits the match, he is considered defeated and his opponent is automatically victorious. In For Honor however, when an opponent quits the match after you've won 3 rounds against him, even if it is after the victory message has popped, the game considers you've played a meaningless match against a bot and so you get 0% rank improvement. The result is that you've wasted time to find a match, play an opponent the best you can, win, but still get 0% ranking improvement and a big waste of time. If ranking didn't count for me, I would play basic duel matches. But I don't, because I like the seriousness and competivity associated with playing ranked. Anyways, this is ********. It needs to be fixed. It is annoying and has been going on for too long.
I have talked about this issue in chat support and have gotten a 3-day champion status which changes nothing about the issue and frankly I could care less about champion status since this is a ranked duels issue. I don't want to open a ticket and get a 3-day CS everytime it happens, no, I think the only logic solution is to fix this issue and show respect to the dedicated players willing to play and learn and not abuse a game mechanic which punishes other players unfairly.
