    DZ is more fun

I am not the best PvP player, but there doesn't seem to be the instant melt as much as there was. There are still people cheating, but can deal with most. There were a couple groups going Rogue and a couple groups fighting them. When the rogues were gone there was a bunch of standing around, so my brother and I went rogue to mix it up and we died. After that a couple of guys sent us invites and when we had a group of 4 we were going manhunt and clearing it. It was a fun 2 hours. It is amazing when the odds are the same how much fun can be had. It is also funny when the same guys that gank you 4 on 1 or 4 on 2 and emote on on, get melted and run when it is 4 on 4.

I'm hearing quite a lot of this complaining about Pred and getting bled. Pred, like all sets, has a function, has strengths, has weaknesses, and has counters. Now I'm not saying that I'm the biggest fan of Pred, especially when multiple people are running it. But it is fairly easy to deal with, if you choose to. Adrenaline, immunizer, edr, and bleed resistance come to mind. Run a high damage build against them since their bleed is all they have going for them. Something like Banshee, Lonestar, PredShee, etc. If your solo and getting ganged up on, then get in a group. If you have to adjust your build setup to include more pred countermeasures and sacrifice a puny amount of chc, then do it. If it's old bad habits like getting so close to your enemy that you can kiss them and do their hair while shooting them, then stop doing that. If you are absent-mindedly dropping and popping, or setting your box down out in the open, practice not doing that.

The point is that Predator has been here the whole time, and so have the counters to it. So what changed? Well, Striker changed. No longer do the masses have that crutch playing the game for them. No longer do players have that ridiculous sustained/burst damage, tankiness, and healing all rolled into one easy-mode set. No longer is everyone and their mother all running it. As well as the other major change that coincided with Striker. That being pop n drop burst healing. It stands to reason that if these two major changes happened at the same time, that it was going to fundamentally change how pvp engagements are played and won. You can't realistically expect to be able to build and play the exact same way as you did when Striker was all that was used and pop n drop was your go to heal.

We are in the growing pains portion of the patch with these changes. So just take this as an opportunity to try some things out, theory craft, make changes to existing gear to adapt, grind out new pieces if need be, change up play styles. Or throw your hands up and stomp your feet and get nowhere. Predator, while mildly annoying, is NOWHERE near the level of the former Striker.

Well said. Like you, I am not a big Pred fan, but I fully agree that it is not that hard to counter. Not harder as it always has been and surely not harder to counter than a Striker/Showstopper player before the patch. Just take a medkit, use the immunizer etc. And all the complaints of the former Stiker players start getting tedious, imo.

Pred is the least of the problems in the DZ that can be countered with a decent support station. Try a server full of D3. The shotgunners have moved to D3. Striker use to counter this by shooting the shield now it takes forever to get through. Lets see if they fix this. How about in D2 get rid of gear sets period!!!!

Not crying about striker just saying most non skilled players have moved to another crutch. Who need skill when you can hide behind a shield and get no damage while shooting a player its like nomad and striker had a baby and named it D3.

A friend of mine used to watch a youtuber who ran nothing but striker or something and apparently after the nerf he was getting trashed on livestream so bad he just shut i6 down or something. Pred don't bother me anymore than striker did really just get tired of seeing the same thing over and over. What really bothers me is bleeding in my immunization box
