    Lost Save, Character Gone

    Hello,

    while playing in CO-OP and finishing a mission the game froze when the cutscene after an extraction was supposed to play.

    After waiting for 5 min and seeing game was completely unresponsive I closed it. Problem is that now I have no Continue Campaign, just New Campaign, it's as if I've never played it but in uPlay I see 92 completed mission, 75h co-op time played.

    Is there a way for my save to be restored?

    Try disabling the uplay overlay, it helped me.

    Hi Kivan97,

    There's currently an issue that is being looked into that is causing this issue to occur.

    As well as the information provided by lordanpu (which has been confirmed by users to stop it happening again), please try the steps below:
    1. Make a copy of your save folder to be sure not to loose it.
      • You can find your save folder by default here :
      • Uplay : C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\<account_id> \1771
      • Steam : C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\<account_id> \3559
    2. Disable cloud function in Uplay
    3. Launch game
    4. Quit game
    5. Enable cloud again. When game is launched again, it should no longer have the option "New Campaign" displayed.

      Failing this, apply the following 2 steps:
    6. Go to the folder and delete "1.save"
    7. Rename "2.save" to "1.save"

    Ubisoft will you stop telling people about this supposed fix, it does not work. I speak to players everyday that have followed these steps and it does not work!!!
