Rebumping this thread because it is still a problem that still is not fixed, while more tracks with troublesome times get into the game. Also, stop selling tracks you have pieces of for full price in the shop please. And please listen to the community. We love the game, but some things just make take the fun away.

I wish they would listen. Well, they probably do listen, that's unfair. They just don't act on what we ask for, even though most of the time what we ask for is warranted. I really hope they take a deeper look at these tracks and raise the times a bit. I know they did it back in the day with Alpha Street, and that wasn't even because it was unattainable, it was just really hard. Some of these are literally impossible with certain bikes.

I got a 19.821 on Happy Fling(android.) I think a 19.700 is possible, it just has to be spot on with no mistakes

Yes a platinum is possible on happy fling, if you position the retry button further down so you can try multiple times to get a good start and I suggest you frontflip of the ramp in the middle. About switchblade the key has been mentioned before. My sentiment is that pushing the BMW so hard, makes racing this bike cheaper. Moreover we should be able to have a plat time with at least one of the older bikes.

Man this games medal system sure is messed up. How can a track like Trojan horse(and so many others) have a huge gap in the platinum requirement? And these few tracks are only for the elite riders. Finally platted these tracks. Took a lot more tries than normal and even though it was frustrating, I have to admit it’s better than one of the tracks where you get a plat on your first few attempts. It doesn’t appear they’re interested in changing the times for the medals so my advice to those of you on iOS is to load my ghost and race against me. I’m in my 50’s, can’t see the screen without my glasses and don’t have any feeling left in my frostbitten thumbs. Trust me, you CAN beat me! You can find me at #91 on Switchblade and #30 on Happy Fling. Probably won’t be at those ranks for long though as all of you start to pass me!

Are you literally trolling us as a community mod? This is a serious post? Dude, the plat times on these tracks are too tight for normal humans and for Donkey riders. Please fix them, 99.9% of your players aren't happy with this. There shouldn't be tracks that cannot be platinum'd with the original bikes. If it's tough and tight with those bikes, I get it. I may or may not have to repeat myself here...
On Happy Fling w/ Donkey, I did get an 19.881 (didn't accept it), settled for a 19.961 instead, but then it went to 19.880, that's why a 19.880 time is there and not an 19.881, it's not a typo. A 19.700/19.6xx Plat time is unlikely or IMPOSSIBLE, but it shouldn't be like that. BMW can make it, but only with 0.7 seconds worth of leeway/space. (Fastest time is 18.999 w/BMW) My point is, Platinum times needs some leeway/space after we hit them with certain bikes on all tracks. Even with the BMW, the amount of leeway/space after the Platinum is only a handful of milliseconds, normally there is much more than that. Yes, we know this specific time is meant to be difficult, we get that, but you guys have seriously overhit the mark on how hard it's meant to be, it's way too excessively fast for ANY bike there. We're basically trying to hit absolute extremes here when we shouldn't need to.
On Snow Alley, the Donkey can only just make it with an improvisation. (A rear-wheel bounce is needed on a slope to keep the speed instead of slowing down at the highest point of the track.) The BMW can reach the Platinum time quite easily, but it's too quick for Donkey and OG bikes. Again, 2 players have Platinum with the Donkey there: http://trials.bonxy.net/tracks/Snow+Alley-Donkey
Any other track since the game was released has been fine, out of the 327 tracks we have today, only 2 or 3 have major issues with Platinum times. None as controversial as Happy Fling, Snow Alley or The Switchblade, and all have been out in the last 6 months, but the other 324 are fine.
And the odd medal times/faults which are appearing as well on newer tracks which doesn't make sense too, which is quite bothersome and disconcerting. Other people have mentioned this. Something's gone wrong somewhere...
Honestly RL, be realistic. It should ALWAYS be possible to get a Platinum on EVERY track, with Global, Donkey and Crazy bikes. It's another unwanted issue which shouldn't be an issue at all and it's getting out of hand. The medal times are now in doubt, when it shouldn't be, there's no encouragement here, it won't make us better, it doesn't give us any more motivation. It's exactly what Chemical-TBR said. No need for this. No other track in the game's 4 to 5 year history has had this problem. Keep the standards as before, simple as that. Otherwise we'll see more tracks that would have this problem in the future, in which I might feel agitated about.
As well as what everyone else has said too, we're just repeating ourselves here because we are ADAMANT that this problem should get resolved but hasn't.

I don't post on here anymore, in fact it's been 2 years since I posted normally on here. That's actually not fair. I think it's a bit rude that you're calling me out like that. I've seen FAR worse and they don't get called out. All I was trying to do was make my point across. And as for Trojan Giraffe, that track was out almost 5 years ago, that Platinum time is obscure but for different reasons, it's super easy to obtain so no-one is going to complain. In-fact, on Reverse Engineering, players can hit 23+ seconds under Platinum, but I know the amount of leeway/space there is ridiculous if anything... But since it's on the other end of the scale, it's not that problematic.
Some other tracks have easy Platinum times, but some have hard/tricky Plats like Permafrost Climb, but would have no complaints or issues either way because even though it's a hard track with a hard Platinum time, it's still perfectly reasonable and achievable.
When I was against my ghost on Happy Fling, I did feel that 19.700 is impossible or highly improbable no matter how smooth the run is, I don't feel that I would have or could have been that far ahead to achieve that nor do I think that anyone can achieve it with the Donkey, as well as the Riptide, Berserker and the Phantom. A 19.7xx time can be done but I feel though that if you say it's possible to reach a 19.700 time with the Donkey, I think that RL won't change it when it does need to be changed. Impressive time btw. A few people don't seem to understand what you're on about, I'll explain that now. In case people don't know, Engage_The_Fish is on about Happy Fling with the Donkey, no one has a Platinum there. Also, I don't think UbiSnout is trolling us, I think he's completely misunderstood the whole point, especially about Fish's post, and Fish was making a post about my previous message involving Happy Fling with the Donkey, not normal bikes.
