Defense mode-
Constantly players pick fights with Unidad or SB to prompt reinforcements. But SB quickly gets beaten and Unidad resorts to endless helos and not enough ground forces. A mode with ever increasing difficulty would be great.
Example:
You reach a point in the map and activate defense mode. That prompts a Unidad wanted level and the first wave of a few vehicles show. You hold the position for a designated time period before the next way point is revealed. (Ammo boxes only appear once you reach the next waypoint). Once the waypoint is revealed you fight through a second increasingly difficult wave of reinforcemts until you reach the waypoint. Then you reload and defend that position for a time duration and so on.
So it would go like this
Round one defend
Round two move and fight to waypoint
Round three defend
Round four move and fight to waypoint
Etc.
now you can take this furthur
So after 5 rounds you can call for extract which prompts a 5 min defense until helo arrives and waits for only 1 min. You make to the bird you get some points.
Now after 5 rounds you can decline to extract and go another increasingly harder 5 rounds however it will offer more points. The number of ground forces will double, and the enemy will have the option of mortar strikes. And 2 attack helos.
If you die before getting to round 10 you go bust on points. So it’s like double or nothing while facing harder odds
After round ten you can extract or stay on for the final 5 which would include limited ammo with overwhelming ground forces and mortars.
By doing a defense stage followed by a movement stage you will avoid players adopting a whack a mole mentality. And relying on well laid traps to continue to beat the enemy.
I each region should have defense mode that becomes unlocked when you complete a previous zone. That would offer different venues for players and avoid the mode to become stagnant fast.
The following should be restricted
-no weapon swap during the gameplay unless you are at an ammo crate
-no drone
-no rebel support
-no vehicle spawn
The aim is make the player think on the move and use the ebvironement around him.

Digital scope and or acog for MGs in PVE
Proper Grenade launcher on the SCAR. You have it for the TAR-21 but not for the gun it was intended
M79 stand alone launcher (pirate gun)

Technically, the one in the game isn't the version designed for the SCAR, either. Neither is it proper for the TAR-21. The one for the SCAR has a trigger module that wraps around the magazine. And just saying, but I've never once seen or heard of the M79 being called a "pirate gun" until the book No Easy Day was published.
To defeat UNIDAD waves. You need to play a little patience. Wait til a full compliment of forces finish multiplying. Then destroy everything quickly and leave the immediate area. The alert chevrons will disappear very fast. -- You won't achieve this on the ground, as enemy troops run/drive faster and more accurately than you, and their shots are superiously faster than anything you can achieve.Originally Posted by Trigger_Hoot Go to original post
